Our home

We live in a historic home in West Bradenton (it's over a 100 years old!) Our home is about 7 miles from the beaches of Anna Maria Island (gorgeous!). The downtown is just 1 mile from our house.

We have a beautiful deck out back that it great to sit and enjoy a morning coffee. And in the evenings, the hot tub and sparkle lights are a real treat!

THE KITTIES:
We have 3 kitties. Two indoor (Sofía 4yrs-old & Olly 3 yrs-old). They both are super social, playful, and funny. They will warm your heart. And then there's our indoor/outdoor boy (Oakey - 9yrs) who is our shy guy. He requires a kitty whisperer with patience to gain his trust and coax him in at night. For short sits, he may not come inside, but again it all depends.

Sofía is such a little love. She will flop over and show you her belly. She is very silly and loves to play mouse and loves kitty TV.

Olly is our newest edition. We got him so Sofía would have a playmate. He loves playing and being silly and annoying his sister.

Oakey, our outdoor boy, requires a little extra patience to make him feel comfortable, a "kitty whisperer" who is willing to work with him a bit. We do ask that you bring his food inside at night so that all the critters (raccoons & possums) don't get too comfortable. He eats indoors for us, but most likely that will not be the case for short sits while we are gone as he is very shy.

The kitties also need their food and water filled daily. They do like a little scoop of wet food twice a day. We have a robot littler box that just needs emptied every 4 days. Other than that, they just need love & attention (when they are not sleeping lol).

UPDATES:
During the time we are away, we are always available for you to reach out with your questions. We also have friends and family that lives in the area that can help out if need be. Other than that, we just appreciate updates on the kitties here and there.

Our second sit at Jen and Allen’s. It gets better each time. They do everything they can to make us comfortable. Their home has every comfort and Jen’s communication is excellent. Their cat, Sofia is a delight to play and she loves to cuddle. We would love to do this sit again.
We had a great time with Sofia and Oakey. Sofia is a sweet and affectionate "dog cat" who plays chase and fetch. She loves humans and is full of energy and curiosity. Oakey is a shy boy but he warmed up on the second morning when he came home for breakfast and let us pet him. It's hard not to love them! Jennifer and Allen are thoughtful and kind. They made sure we were comfortable and offered to let us stay in their room which has a big bed. Their home is charming, clean, and organized. ... MoreWe had a great time with Sofia and Oakey. Jen was a great communicator. Sofia, the cat was a delight to play with. They both made us feel at home. Enjoyed touring the area. So much to see and do, Jen had all the information about the best spots to see and eat. She made some great suggestions. I highly recommend this sit. We loved it so much we are going to do it again in May. Chris & BJ

Robinson Preserve, only a few miles from the house was one of my favorites! The house was very comfortable, neat, clean and in a great location! The kitties stole my heart!
