Our home

We have an apartment that is a duplex in a complex of five buildings (10 units total). From the living room and master bedroom, there are views of the Pacific Ocean and Channel Islands (if it's clear). We have a private back patio. It's five minute drive to downtown Santa Barbara and about eight minutes to the beach. Street is a quiet cul-de-sac on a hill. Lots of nice hiking trails close by as well.

Our pets

Two blind cats to take care of. One is outgoing and friendly. The other is sweet, but takes a while to get to know someone. Their blindness doesn't add any additional care, although the older one prefers to stay in the upstairs portion of our new apartment. They get around fine, so pet care is only feeding, cleaning litter boxes, and keeping them company.

We are Alex and Wayne. We moved in to our place a month ago and our cats (both blind) are still getting situated, so we would love for someone to stay while we're in Portugal for two weeks.
