Our home

We live in a log house on 30 acres. We enter through the garage, up the stairs and enter into the mudroom. From the mudroom you enter the kitchen that galley style. Straight ahead is the dining room. Stairs to the right go down to the ground level basement, and off the dining room to the left are 2 bedrooms with a bath in between. We have 3 cats, Meeko, Kia, and Callie and 1 cockatiel in the house. There are 2 chickens, 1 Standardbred horse, 1, Sicilian Donkey, and 1 miniature horse in the barn yard.
I have a detailed feeding routine in a folder that is given to our house sitters.

Minimal - All but 5 of the house plants are outside in July. There is an outside hose available to water. We do have a vegetable garden planted and you are welcome to pick and eat some while staying at our home.

My husband and I live a quiet life style. I work at an elementary school as a special education teacher. My husband is a self-employed carpenter/handyman. Although he is semi retired.

Important info

Our home is completely off grid. But, this isn't anything to worry about. We have solar panels that fill the batteries, and if the sun doesn't shine, the generator will kick on and charge the batteries.
We have wifi and tv.
