Our Golden family needs a reliable house sitter and care for our dog Jasper while we are on vacation.

Our Golden family needs a reliable house sitter and care for our dog Jasper while we are on vacation.

EXCELLENT LOCATION to explore all that the charming little town of Golden, Colorado has to offer. We are only blocks away from downtown where there are many restaurants, shops and bars to explore. For those who enjoy the outdoors, the Golden area has a multitude of hiking and biking opportunities, including a trail right behind our house that will take you along Clear Creek into Golden and on to the foothills. Sandwiched between the city and the foothills, you'll also have quick and easy access to: Denver, Boulder, the mountains/foothills, Red Rocks, School of Mines and other fun spots in the surrounding area.

Our property is a two-story ranch style house, on a quiet street. You will have all the downstairs available to you for use during your stay, along with the laundry room located upstairs. We sit right along a small creek, and have a lovely backyard to enjoy during warm weather, and a cozy sunroom for anytime. Parking will be available in the garage.


The Pets:
We have a male Australian shepherd mix named Jasper, aged 5-6 yrs old, approximately 68 pounds. He loves all people and most, but not all, dogs. He will want to snuggle with you whatever opportunity he gets, but is not allowed on the bed. While a mellow guy inside, he is an energetic boy on his walks, which he needs a couple times a day.

We can walk into downtown Golden which has a number of small shops and restaurants. There are great bike and walking paths accessible right from our house. We have great access to hiking trails and the mountains from our convenient location located along the foothills outside of Denver.

Jasper is our Australian Sheperd mix who is super friendly and needs a walk in the morning and afternoon.

medicationMedication/treatment required

Jasper gets a Dasaquin treat in the morning and a thryroid pill (using a pill pocket treat) in the morning and evening. He looks forward to these treats after he finishes his food in the morning and evening.

Teresa and Greg have lived in this Golden neighborhood for 30 years. When we are not travelling we enjoy the outdoors hiking, biking, sailing and skiing.

Super comfortable home and guest room, with an amazing backyard view by the creek. Great walking/biking trails in several directions. Easy access to downtown Golden (about 15 min walk to the strip). Jasper adjusted well and followed me around most of the time. He did great on walks as long as I proactively distracted him around other dogs. Didn't chase rabbits but would have let loose on the cat if he could have :) Loved the visit!
