We are in Pinckney, which is by Brighton, Howell, Dexter, Ann Arbor, Lansing is about 45 min from us.

Our house is a ranch with a finished walk-out basement. You will have use of the master bedroom, which has a king-size bed and its own bathroom. The main floor is a great room connecting the living room/dining and the kitchen.

There are also parks and beaches nearby. The leaves should be turning this time of year for a beautiful fall.

We also have a multi-city bike trail which you can access down our road, and bikes for your use.

We have two well-behaved Golden Doodles - Dobie, full-size, and Moxi, a mini. They can go out in the back and run around our over 1-acre yard. No need to walk them. Their food and water should remained filled so no need to feed at a certain time. They are friendly and like to be around people.

We have three cats, Suki, Loki, and Duffy, who are three-year-old siblings. We call them the triplets. :) Care is simple they have food and water in their room that won't need to be filled during this visit. Their kitty litter is automatic so no daily cleaning. The bin under it just needs the trash bag put in the outside trash and a new bag put in on the 4th day.

Darcy was so easy to communicate with. Right from the start I felt as though she was my friend. This was a super easy and relaxing sit. Moxy and Dobie have a large beautiful backyard to run around and chase wildlife. I even saw two deer pass through the backyard one morning. The triplets (the cats) are curious and so loving but Lucky (the elder cat) was the frindliest. I felt welcomed and cuddled. I spend my days sitting pool side on the very comfy patio enjoying the picturesque setting. ... MoreDarcy was so easy to communicate with. Right from the start I felt as though she was my friend. We had the pleasure of pet-sitting in Darcy's place. Their beautiful walk-out ranch on a peaceful, acre lot surrounded by pine trees provided a very comfortable and relaxing setting during our stay from March 22nd - March 31st. Caring for Dobie and Moxie was an absolute joy and simply involved letting them out through the doors into the yard a few times per day. In addition to the dogs, they have a family of cats that made the experience even more fun. Duffy was always sitting on my lap while ... MoreWe had the pleasure of pet-sitting in Darcy's place. Caring for Dobie and Moxie was an absolute joy and simply involved letting them out through the doors into the yard a few times per day. In addition to the dogs, they have a family of cats that made the experience even more fun. Duffy was always sitting on my lap while I (Olga) was working. The homeowners made pet care extremely simple by providing plenty of food and water bowls that just needed topping up regularly. Overall, it was a fantastic pet-sitting experience in a wonderful home ideally set up for animal care. Thank you for making us feel so welcome!

This was my first house sitting job, and I appreciated Darcy's trust in choosing me. We never met in person, but she was so responsive and communicative I felt like I knew her by the end of my stay, and could see her family's love for each all around me. It's entertaining to watch Dobie, an overgrown puppy, interact with Lucky, an affectionate but independent cat. The gerbils and hamster are very low maintenance pets. We definitely recommend house sitting for Darcy and her sweet pets! Darcy has a loving, caring, adventurous spirit and she loves to travel and experience all the beauty and wonder of this world! She is a strong woman, physically, emotionally and mentally, and has three beautiful daughters who are following in her footsteps! Because they travel fairly often she has had a number of house/pet sitters and we were fortunate to be two of them! We enjoyed getting to know and love on all their ... She is a strong woman, physically, emotionally and mentally, and has three beautiful daughters who are following in her footsteps! Because they travel fairly often she has had a number of house/pet sitters and we were fortunate to be two of them! We enjoyed getting to know and love on all their pets, including Bella, their Maltipoo who tends to sleep a lot, but has her moments of hopping up and down and barking excitedly wanting outside. She's quite entertaining! Cookie, their little Morkie is so Adorable, and full of energy! She is a teeny tiny power dog who is "In Charge"! She LOVES to have her belly rubbed and be by you! And Lucky, their cat, who chose to be outside most of the time, but often hung out on the back deck to savor being petted. We were fortunate to sit during the summer months, so not only did we enjoy the comforts of their large home but also their back deck and pool! So nice! Darcy's kitchen offers you excellent pans, utensils and appliances, so if you enjoy cooking, you should be very pleased! There are many near-by towns with lots to offer for an enjoyable day out, yet the one we ventured to most was the closest one, Hell. Going there was a unique and fun experience; especially their friendly post office! Go figure! Thank you Darcy for trusting your home and sweet pets with us. We truly enjoyed ourselves!
