You'll be hanging out with three lovable dogs, each with their own personality!

**Athena (14)** is the wise old lady of the house. She's slow, sweet, and happiest napping in a sunny spot. She takes two medications daily (one with breakfast and one with dinner) for arthritis and her thyroid, and she's a total pro about taking her pills. She has a little age-related confusion and can be a bit chatty at times, but she mostly enjoys short strolls to the neighborhood park for a good sniff before heading back home for another nap. She absolutely adores people.

**Archer (11)** is the biggest cuddle bug you'll ever meet. Although he recently lost his vision, he's adapted incredibly well and confidently follows his favorite walking route. Like Athena, he's entered his retirement years and spends much of his day snoozing. He enjoys a daily walk but is perfectly content with a quieter day if it's especially hot outside.

**Gypsy (8)** is the youngster and the athlete of the group. She's an excellent running or hiking companion, loves a good game of fetch, and somehow still believes she's a lap dog. Everyone who meets her comments on how sweet she is with people. She prefers to keep her circle of dog friends small, so I simply ask that she not be introduced to unfamiliar dogs. She's perfectly comfortable passing other dogs on walks and trails—she just does best when given her space.

Overall, they're a very easygoing crew. The neighborhood park is just a block away, making daily exercise simple, and during Reno's hot summer days I usually walk in the early morning or evening. Everyone is perfectly happy with one walk a day and lots of love in between.
