I have a ranch style home, three bedrooms, two baths on 1.6 acres in a quiet community. Only two of the bedrooms and one bathroom are available to the house sitters. Both bedrooms have queen size beds, a dresser and a desk with chair, one room is slightly larger and has a sitting chair as well. I have three dogs, australian shepherds, who love attention. So when I leave on vacation and can't take them with me, it is nice to know someone is in my home giving them attention. They free feed dry kibble and I also give them chicken morning and night, the chicken is already prepared, just needs to be heated and served. They do not need to be walked, but giving them playtime in the yard with the tennis balls is great. You can walk them if you would like. It is a great neighborhood. The cat is very old, she free feeds dry food and gets half a can of wet food morning and night. She probably has kidney disease and so she goes through a lot of water, just make sure her water is always full. I also have three horses, very easy to take care of. One of them is in a separate pen because she can not have hay, she gets alfalfa pellets topped off with water. The other two get hay. All animals get fed morning and night. It is fine to leave and enjoy your day, they do not need your attention throughout the day.
