Our home

My tiny / small home (540 SQ/ft) is in a small town in South Central Kentucky. It is surrounded by trees, and I find it very peaceful here. My brother and I did most of the building of this home, so it is a special sanctuary to me.

It has one main bedroom, one small bedroom, one bathroom, and the main living area is combined with the kitchen. The house sits on 3 acres, and approximately half an acre of it is fenced in, so my kitties and chickens can roam as they please.

This house/pet sit is great for sitters who want a quiet retreat. I have fiber optic WiFi, so if you work remotely, you'll have reliable service. For the safety and peace of my animals, I prefer solo or couple sitters without children or pets of their own that they need to bring. I enjoy fitness, and you're welcome to anything I have at home (indoor spin bike, exercise ball, hand weights, exercise mat, 2 outdoor bicycles).

I have four lovely kitties (Ragnar, Sila, Boosie, and Percy). They are all unique in their personalities, but all love attention and affection in their own ways. They have a kitty door that allows them freedom to come in and out of the house into the fenced yard, as they please. They will need your love and support to provide food bowl fill ups, freshwater, and a clean litter box on the daily.
Chickens and one rooster are self-sustaining and only need their eggs gathered daily. If you've never dealt with chickens, don't let this intimidate you; they are so easy! Not to mention they are a hoot to watch--free entertainment! :)

My kitchen does not have a traditional large oven with stove top, but I do have a countertop large toaster oven, air fryer, instant pot, induction hot plate, and microwave.
