Our home

I'm looking for a loving person (preferably female) to care for my gentle Husky approximately Nov 18-30. Misu is smallish (50 lbs.), biddable, on the shy side (especially of men). At five years, she's active without being rambunctious. She has free access to a fenced yard where she spends most of her time, so needs only a morning and late afternoon jaunt. Our house (about 20 minutes from downtown Portland) is in a quiet neighborhood with good sidewalks, slight hills, and is close to shops, trails, parks and highways. We have bus service about a half-mile away, and the use of our car is negotiable. There's a vibrant arts, food and music scene in the metro area, and we are the gateway to gorgeous wine country and the famous Oregon coast (about a 90 minute drive).

What a fun sit! Misu is such an awesome sweet dog and we bonded and loved our walks! Wet weather is my favorite and we had plenty of that. Got some great pictures with lots of color! The accommodations were awesome and Lissa was very kind and invited me along to lunch with a group of women before she left. Such and awesome sit!! If able I’d be there again in a heart beat!!
The feeling is absolutely mutual, Susan, and I hope we can have you come on a regular basis! Thank you again (with soft woofs from Misu).

Another wonderful house sit with Lissa and Misu. I will miss them both. This neighborhood is great for anyone who likes to hike, bike or wants to be a hop, skip and a jump from Portland without the noise and traffic.

Lissa is a wonderful host. She is kind, caring and communicative. I absolutely loved getting to house sit for her. We even got to share some delicious meals together that she prepared. She is extremely generous with her space and knowledge. Misu the husky is soooo sweet and adorable. We went on some great walks together and I enjoyed exploring the neighborhood, This is a spectacular house sit and I would recommend to anyone.
