The beautiful three story 1910 brick home is located in the historic district of Parkersburg, on Washington Ave.. Safe, lovely homes, and very friendly neighbors. Close to the city park.

Parkersburg is located to the East of the Ohio River, next to mid-southern border of Ohio. It is an old town with lots of history predating the Civil War.
Beautiful parks, theater, and art. Parkersburg is close to Marietta, Ohio, Athens, and Columbus is two hours north. Charleston 1 hr. east.

Sassafras, 3 1/2 year old Pembroke Corgi
Nettie, 2 1/2 year old Pembroke Corgi
Dogs are very sweet and affectionate. Corgis are total characters - funny and full of energy. Blossom is older and is quiet.

medicationMedication/treatment required

Minimal vitamins daily. Corgis - allergy pill every other day during Spring time. Beginning of the month, dogs receive one pill for Heart Worm/Flea.

Our garden

Average - There are two small lawns (one tiny one in the front of the house), and a small backyard. Indoor plants are minimal - just moving from CA so had to leave almost all my plants in CA. During March there shouldn't be much care of the garden or lawns.

Steve and Kathleen, love to travel. Our three dogs are great company and are very loving. Kathleen is a retired teacher/mosaic artist. Steve retired production manager. Our house is full of art!

Important info

The dogs are walked two times a day. The house has a fenced in backyard. Sassafras, Nettie, and Blossom are very loving and social dogs. They like to say 'hello' to people and need affection from the sitters.

We thoroughly enjoyed our four weeks in Lompoc looking after things for super lovely couple Kathleen and Steve - especially grateful to them for putting us in touch with local musicians so Steve could get involved in a weekly jam night in town. They made sure we had everything we could ever need to take care of their beautiful home - an inspiring treasure trove of eclectic art and craft - and their delightful pups Blossom, Sassafrass and Nettie. We're missing the fun times we had exploring ...
