Our home

Small double wide mobile home, has 1 bedroom and bath, living room, dining room, den, and laundry room. The Den is the Puppy room, with their beds, water, puppy pads and a gate, where they sleep at night or when their care giver is not in the home. Small dog yard outside the laundry room for their convenience. Limited wifi, which can be boosted. Central heat, swamp cooler if needed.

favoriteWhat we love about our area

Very rural with lovely oak trees, & lots of wildlife. Turkeys, deer, foxes, skunks, hawks, birds. Incredible wild flowers in the spring. Its a peaceful escape. Only 7 miles from lake trails for hiking and riding, 10 miles from the river, yet only 20 minutes from town.

2 retired SAR ponies, and 1 Mustang who require feeding 2 times daily, and watering plus mucking paddock. Horses may need to be moved if it rains. 3 house dogs fed meals twice a day and snacks during the day. They get let out for potty breaks several times a day. Poop needs to be picked up every time (Big dog eats it :( when you don't. Little dog has a potty grass that needs the pads changed if used, 4 ranch cats, fed twice daily.

1 horse needs a pain/inflammation pill every other day fed in a carrot

Important info

There are mountain lions in these hills, and spring and summer can bring rattle snakes. This is an area that can have wildfires. We don't have sitters in the summer during fire season, No drugs,

They prefer vegetarian food and are excellent hosts! They were very kind and their communication was excellent throughout the sit. They do like to check in on things such as the thermostat and the daily tasks, which is understandable since I did charge for the sit. The sit involves caring for three horses, three dogs, four cats, and two goats twice a day.
