House and dog sitting. 7 yr old border collie mix. Bella can be shy, a woman is preferred for this reason. Very easy going around other dogs in my experience, she is not agressive.

House is old but clean. No rugs aside from 1 bedroom. There are two bedrooms with twin beds available. Wifi is very good. Smart tv (no cable). Washer/dryer. No dishwasher.

Location holds many possibilities. 5-10 min walk (grocery, convenience store, bar/restaurant, raitrail, post office, recreation path for walk/bike, WVU practice track, kayak launch, city bus stop 2 blocks away). Very safe neighborhood. 20 min drive to Cheat Lake Beach swimming/kayaking area. Ample street parking. Driving distance to lake swimming and hhiking. 1 mile to highway 79. Hour and 15 min drive to Pittsburgh. WVU campus and downtown shops/restaurants are 5-10 min drive.

2-3 hrs to Washington DC, Baltimore, Columbus, Cleveland. I am okay with Bella being left home for a whole day for a day trip (just not overnight). I do not want her brought in a car anywhere really.

I'm listing this as unpaid because my local sitter is available and needs to be paid. If this opportunity is worthwhile to you unpaid then please inquire about full or even partial time frame. It's NOT a fancy house. It is humble and I do clean thoroughly for you. All linens will be clean. And I have great pots and pans for cooking if you cook! House has both AC and heat. And an unfenced yard. Bella is not off-leash, and needs to be in a harness with her leash (she has slipped out of a collar before).
