Sonda
Enjoy a quiet two weeks in the mountains during off season while cuddling with our two older cats. The views are great. There is free bus transportation to the two nearby towns and the ski area. We are within walking distance of a great coffee shop and bar/restaurant. We are 7 miles from the charming historic ski town of Crested Butte. This is a 3 bedroom, 2.75 bath house that could sleep 1-6 easily. We would consider someone for a portion of the time, but would prefer the whole time. Our cats are older and so have the occasional mishap, but otherwise do not require much work.
It was a wonderful location, house, and pet sit. The owners were very kind, welcoming and considerate. Really good people. We had good communication, and everything was just as they said. They were very respectful and made me feel welcome in their home. The two cats were good to sit. I was very fortunate to be able to sit for them and would happily do it again.
We really enjoyed catsitting for Sonda in Crested Butte! Sprinkles & Cricket, the cats, were a joy and super easy to care for. The house was awesome and Crested Butte is an amazing town. We felt so lucky to be able to stay there for 2 weeks. Sonda was as accommodating & hospitable as one could be. It was such a pleasant stay- we highly recommend it!!
This sit was an absolute dream! The cats were sweet, adorable, easy companions throughout my stay. The house is beautiful and surrounded the Rockies--waking up every morning to those views was a source of joy. And of course, Kevin & Sonda were consummate hosts, welcoming me into their home the night before and introducing me to their neighbors. Communication was excellent, and I would recommend this sit to everyone!
You can keep it close to home, or you can use house sitting as a way to travel on a shoestring. It's all good, and it starts here.
