I am retired and have lost my most recent pet last December. My heart still aches but I also love to travel and see new places so when I stumbled upon this website I thought it could be the best of both worlds!
I would be the primary care giver for your pets and would travel with my husband or my sister depending on your location (my husband isn't crazy about cities but my sister loves them). We all have had pets all our lives and will care for yours as if they were our own. We are a retired government contractor with a secret clearance, a retired COO of a large juvenile facility and a retired school teacher. All who love animals and love to roam. Please feel free to ask any questions, we understand the need to feel completely comfortable with a stranger taking care or your home and your furry/feathered loved ones.
Carla & her sister Linda were excellent house/pet sitters. We felt very comfortable as soon as we met them. Lots of texts & pics to assure us that our dog Jesse was doing well. Our home was immaculate when we returned. Highly recommend & hope to have them sit again!
Carla and Linda were the best ever house sitters!!--Our dog Honey and cat Spike were well cared for and greatly loved. Honey gave her sniff of approval the moment they stepped out of their car, and we could tell they were going to be in great hands. Our home was well cared for, as were the flowers and garden even in a time of drought when a lot of watering had to be done. It was great to get a bit acquainted with them as well---we would have them back in a heart beat!!
Carla was phenomenal! The minute she got to our place, we could tell our dog was so comfortable with her. She has an amazing energy and left our house in great shape. I can tell she really cares for the animals she watches over, and we would love to have her watch our dog Meelo again. Highly recommend :)

We are very pleased to recommend Carla and Linda for the care of your pet and house. They did a super job with my old dog. They sent daily reports of her activities and well being. She was very content when we got home which tells us she had excellent care. They treated the house as if it was their own and it was in great shape when we returned home. They even did laundry! We would have them back any time and highly recommend them for your next housesitting need.
