Hi there!

I'm new to HSA but I have loads of experience with professional pet and housesitting and several recent 5-star references I would be happy to share with you. You can also see my Airbnb reviews on request.

I am a highly sensitive person and have a sense for what makes animals happy (it's corny, but I'm a Leo too)! Some of the obvious things include a fastidiously clean litter box for cats, plenty of movement & exercise, food on time and of course, human attention and affection.

In 1997, my then partner and I started a professional pet sitting business in Portland, OR. Hundreds of pet sits later, (including daily visits and overnight housesitting) we sold the business but I have continued to take care of pets while their humans are away. In Dec 2024, I cared for a sweetheart dog called Falco. This January (2024), I sat a cat named "Kitten" and in February & March, a darling cat, Shadow. I have given insulin shots and pills for cats, subcutaneous fluids to my own cat, medications to dogs, and I'm an organized person who will stay on top of schedules.

I will treat your home respectfully and professionally. It will be just me. I'm vegetarian, a non-smoker, quiet and always want to leave a light footprint wherever I go. You will find your home as you left it, perhaps even a bit tidier.

Recently, I moved to Santa Fe, NM from Portland, OR to catch a little more sun. I currently work remotely as a Bookkeeper (and other random things) for a Voice Over Artist. Before this job, I worked in the tea industry teaching people about tea: how to taste it and blend it.

I love to hike, camp, explore wild areas and find new swimming holes. I'm also learning to play the harp and to dance West Coast Swing.

I work remotely and am in a traveling phase of life. More time working from home = more time spent with your loved ones! I'm checking out new towns by trying them on as I go. I look forward to spending some quality time with your pets. Of course I'll send you photos and updates while you are traveling so you can stay connected with your babies!
