David and I are retired Oregonians. We enjoy travel and cats and like to keep our surroundings neat and clean, so pet-sitting is a win-win: we get to live in your new-to-us neighborhood and make some new furry friends, and you gain a sense of security while away. We've provided excellent care to pets via this site many times -- see our reviews. We promise to take care of your home and your pets as if they were our own!
From the time our sons were young, we had a beloved cat, Genevieve. She was part of our family for sixteen years, and we still miss her, many years after her death. In addition, my family when I was growing up had two dogs and several cats -- all sociable, all much-loved.

Kathy and David were excellent communicators from the beginning and made me feel comfortable leaving my kitty and apartment with them for the week. They even sent a few pics of her while I was gone, and were understanding when there was a slight glitch with my lock box. Highly recommended sitters. Look forward to the next time!
This was our first time using this type of house/pet sitting website so we were a little apprehensive.
It turned out to be a good positive experience. Kathy and David were wonderful, they took great care of our cat, home and garden. Were friendly and communicative.

Kathy & David were excellent! They were friendly & communicative before and during the week of our house/pet sit. They provided excellent care to my pets and home and kept everything very clean & tidy. They also did extra things like pick up tree debris from my yard after some stormy weather & took a bin of glass garbage to the recycling place. They are very trustworthy! I would recommend them 100% and hope they will return to house/pet sit for me in the future!
Kathy and David did a wonderful job taking care of our two cats while we were gone. Within the first day, they had our shy cat out and playing. They gave us updates with pictures of our cats along with being prompt with any questions and necessary updates regarding our apartment.
We came home to a clean apartment and two happy cats!
If you are lucky Enough to have Kathy and David look after your home you will not be a disappointed. They communicated, sent photos of our cat engaging with them, and left the house absolutely pristine. We will gladly welcome them back into our home!
Kathy and David took wonderful care of our pets and home for the 10 days we were out of town. They were very easy to communicate with and flexible with the changes to our plans and flight delay. We received photo updates daily. Our dog Rudy has mobility issues and requires daily medication. They were able to provide the extra care that he needed. We came home to a clean house, fresh sheets, and homemade cinnamon bars. So nice!
We highly recommend them as housesitters.
