We love the companionship of animals and the chance to give homeowners peace of mind while they are away. We enjoy keeping pets comfortable in their own routines, giving them plenty of attention and affection, and experiencing new places while caring for a home as if it were our own.

We are an active, responsible couple in our 60s who are nearing retirement, and animals have always been a big part of our lives.

We have owned dogs for most of our lives. After losing our own dogs, we began watching a friend’s dog for two weeks while they went on a cruise. From there, word spread. Before long, we were caring for dogs not only for friends and family, but also for people we had never met who were referred to us by others. We have also cared for cats in their own homes.

We have owned dogs for most of our lives. After losing our own dogs, we began watching a friend’s dog for two weeks while they went on a cruise. From there, word spread. Before long, we were caring for dogs not only for friends and family, but also for people we had never met who were referred to us by others. We have also cared for cats in their own homes.

We have experience caring for pets with special medical needs. One of our own dogs had diabetes, so we became very comfortable giving insulin injections, administering pills, preparing special food, and following a consistent feeding and medication schedule. We understand how important routines can be, especially for older pets or animals with medical needs.

We do not have children, so the pets we care for truly become part of our family while they are with us. We enjoy spending time with them, going for walks, playing, keeping them company, and making sure they feel comfortable and loved while their owners are away.

We both come from careers that require reliability, good judgment, and the ability to handle unexpected situations. One of us is a nurse and the other is a stagehand, and both professions have taught us to be dependable, organized, and calm when things do not go exactly as planned.

We are homeowners ourselves and understand the importance of treating someone else’s home and property with care and respect. We enjoy being active and are happy caring for pets who love walks and activity, as well as those who simply enjoy companionship and a comfortable routine at home.

We know how much trust it takes to leave your pets and home in someone else’s care. Our goal is to give you peace of mind knowing that both will be cared for responsibly and thoughtfully while you are away.

1st Reference: Lisa and Kris have taken care of our animals for the past 10+ years. They provide not only what is necessary, but go above and beyond to give our pets the most love. Our dogs are so excited when we drive up the driveway of their home. It’s like home away from home for them. They are taken on walks twice a day, they are fed their special diet, given the pills that our one dog needs all with a song and some love. Lastly, they are very communicative if they have questions or concerns about our critters care. I would highly recommend them to care for other’s animals.

2nd Reference: Lisa and Kris are the best dog sitters ever! I recommend them to anyone who has a dog and needs someone to watch their pet while they are out of town. I call them the dog whisperers. My dog, Lexi absolutely loved Kris and Lisa. When Kris and Lisa would come over for a visit, Lexi would immediately jump into their car because she was so excited to stay with them. And when we would go to pick her up after we came back to town, Lexi would greet us at the door, but then she wasn’t sure she wanted to come with us. She enjoyed her time with Kris and Lisa so much! Although dogs can’t talk, I knew Lexi had a great time with Kris and Lisa and they took great care of her. I can’t recommend them enough!
