While I'm new to house sitting outside of our immediate area, I am excited to travel and discover new places to explore and appreciate, while at the same time keeping pets happy in their own familiar home, with owners comforted that they are well-cared for.

We've been cat and dog owners over the years, and miss our furry family members. We currently live in the Midwest (Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri), having retired here recently from the beautiful countryside of upstate NY.

Besides our own pets over the years, I've now been happily providing cat, dog, chicken and plant care occasionally here in Missouri (including overnight stays) and can provide referrals. Besides our own pets over the years, I've now been happily providing cat, dog, chicken and plant care occasionally here in Missouri (including overnight stays) and can provide referrals. I just love loving on my clients pets, since ours are now gone, and if you have a dog that needs walking, I am eager to walk and hike (I hike 5รท/- miles easily, in rough state park trails, a couple times a week). I'd be happy to interview by phone and/or on-line to get to know each other and fully discuss your needs and mutual expectations.

I'm new to House Sitters America and am hoping to expand my local pet sitting into a home stay in new areas that we'd like to (more affordably) explore in exchange for our services. We are responsible, well-versed homeowners and previous cat and dog owners that can keep an experienced eye on the well-being of your home and your pets. We are non-smokers and hubby is a non-drinker, and I just like a glass of wine now & then. While we prefer to stay at our lakeside home during warmer months, we're hoping to find sitting jobs in warmer climates during the colder months. Please know that your pets would always be our first priority, and site-seeing second. I would keep in touch with pet owners as much as they'd want to bring comfort knowing all is well, or advise of any concerns or questions as they may come up.

In the last few years, after our last old golden retriever passed, my love of pets had me caring locally for dogs, cats and chickens, some with overnight stays as well, which was fun for me and gave me a little extra spending money. Watering plants have also been on my to do list for homeowners, and I'm glad to do it.
