We love meeting new animals and becoming part of their little world—morning walks, cuddles, playtime, or simply keeping them company. We know how hard it is to leave your pets behind, so I love giving them care and companionship while you’re away.

A little bit about us, Tony and I have had pets our whole lives. We have had dogs in the past, but both died due to health related issues. We currently have a cat, Kona. She is very vocal and playful, and she only comes with us when allowed. We would love the opportunity to pet sit with Kona, but THIS IS NOT a requirement - we have friends and family that she loves to stay with.

We tend to look for pet sits when we travel because we enjoy having animals around. Together, we’ve cared for cats, dogs, chickens, reptiles, small rodents and horses. We also look for animal rescues to volunteer at as we travel.

We are happy to take on additional tasks such as lawn care, shoveling show, watering plants, cleaning, sending periodic updates and photos, and taking care of anything else that is needed while you are away. We know first-hand how hard it can be to trust someone with your animals, as we frequently leave our cat to be watched. We would be honored to care for your pets while you’re away and give them the love, attention, and companionship they deserve.

We are also on Trusted Housesitters and have multiple 5 star reviews. We took screen shots of these and put them in the photos of our profile. We can also give you references upon request.

For nine years, we traveled with our cat, Kona, and dog, Lucy. Lucy was diagnosed with cancer at just one year old. Caring for her taught us about medications, special diets, recovery, and closely watching changes in her health. We did everything we could to keep her comfortable and enjoying life, taking her hiking, camping, and four-wheel driving until we had to say goodbye.

Because of Lucy, we’re comfortable caring for older pets, medical needs, special diets, recovery, and animals needing extra patience and attention. We treat every animal like family.
