We love experiencing places like locals instead of tourists and getting to know every pet's unique personality. Whether it's hiking with a dog, relaxing with a cat, or simply caring for a home, we enjoy the slower pace and making pets feel safe, loved, and at home.

One of the things we value most about house sitting is the trust homeowners place in us. We want you to return home to happy, well cared for pets and a home that's just as clean and welcoming as you left it.

I've completed many successful Rover sits and have cared for animals for as long as I can remember. My relationship with animals has genuinely been a constant thread throughout my life. Growing up, I had Rio, a white German Shepherd who was my first real responsibility as a dog owner. More recently, I spent six years as a co parent to Jaz, a white Pomchi with the goofiest personality, and I've raised two cats from kittens. My dad always had at least four cats in the house, and my grandmother bred and fostered Rottweilers and Dobermans, so from a pretty young age I became comfortable around large breeds and learned that every animal has its own temperament and way of communicating.

Beyond the more conventional pets, I've also cared for a bearded dragon, an albino Burmese python named Zeus who grew to be about ten feet long, a few rats, which are genuinely underrated pets, and for about six months I hand raised a baby opossum that one of my cats dragged home before he was eventually released to a wildlife shelter. That experience taught me a lot about patience and attentiveness since they are incredibly sensitive animals in captivity.

My girlfriend Jackie and I make a great team. We're both pretty quiet people who love spending quality time with cats and dogs. Jackie is a wonderful singer and guitarist, and we spend a lot of our free time listening to and making music together, creating art, reading, hiking, or simply enjoying being outside and exploring nature. We also cook most of our meals at home because we value whole foods and enjoy the process of slowing down and making something from scratch.

I work remotely for Dell and also help manage my family's Airbnb vacation rentals. When I was more stationary, I spent time preparing the properties between guests, cleaning, organizing, and making sure everything was ready for their arrival. That experience taught me how much the little details matter when you're caring for someone else's home. Keeping a home clean, organized, and well maintained is something I genuinely take pride in.

I'm also pretty handy and do general handyman work as supplemental income, so I tend to notice when something needs attention. Whether it's watering plants, troubleshooting something simple around the house, or making sure everything is kept tidy and running smoothly, I'm always happy to help where I can.

We understand that a home is much more than just a building. It's a place someone has poured their time, care, and energy into, and we treat it with the same respect we would our own. The same goes for every pet we care for. We truly love animals, so none of this feels like work to us. If we could, we'd probably spend more time with animals than we do with each other.

We want every homeowner to feel confident knowing their pets are receiving plenty of love, companionship, and attentive care, and that they'll come home to a space that's been looked after just as thoughtfully as they left it.

Jackie and I make a great team and love giving pets plenty of companionship, whether that's walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply being there with them throughout the day. We treat every animal with the same patience, attention, and love we'd want someone to show our own pets.
