I have been housesitting now for about four years (since I retired) and this mode of traveling fits me to a "T"! My bucket list is getting checked off, I'm finding repeat "vacation" spots and making new friends and contacts all over!

I would love to be your pet’s “grandma” while you travel. Now retired, I love adventure but I'm not in a hurry. I like to travel like a local - stroll around the neighborhood, fix my own meals, water the plants and read with a cat on my lap. My goals are local and international. I currently live in Portland. OR. If visiting the Pacific NW I would bring my car. In the past I have volunteered with non-profit organizations in Central America and Africa. I’d love 2-3 month house sits where I can take in local culture, nature, history and culinary delights at my own pace. My bucket list includes Canada, Ireland, UK, France, Spain, to name a few specific locations. I look forward to meeting you and your pets.

Sometimes I travel with my brother Jim. He is a retired electrical engineer and inventor who lives in Florida.
