We regard house/pet sitting as a great opportunity to visit different parts of the world and experience life as a ‘resident’ of that country.
Since 2019 we have undertaken house sitting on numerous occasions in Melbourne, Victoria, to visit family.

Maryanne and Peter live in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, in a suburban house with lawn and garden that we maintain.

We are
* retired and enjoy travelling regularly in our motorhome throughout Australia;
* very fit and active people, enjoy walking and bike riding;
* reliable, flexible, responsive, honest, clean, tidy, respectful of other people’s privacy and belongings, and are non-smokers.

In your absence, we will maintain your house and garden, mow lawn, clean the pool, forward mail and care for pets as required. We can update you about your house/pet in your absence via email, photos, if required.

Maryanne undertakes volunteer work with Australian Red Cross and currently holds a Working with Children card, issued by the Queensland Government, which also involved obtaining a National Police check.

Pet care

When our four children were younger, the pets we cared for included chickens, birds, guinea pigs and a cat. Our reason for not owning pets currently is so we can travel.
