Hello, I’m Kimberly — a seasoned, world-traveled house and pet sitter with experience dating back to 2015.

Alongside my adult son, Donald, I’ve cared for 300+ homes and fur/feather/aqua/plant companions across a wide range of needs, including medication administration, senior and convalescent care, reactive pets, and general household stewardship. We’re comfortable with both short and extended sits and are especially well-suited for longer-term, low-maintenance homes.
We’re quiet, non-smoking, non-drinking, respectful homebodies who value privacy, routine, and leaving a home as we found it — or better. In our downtime, we enjoy reading, writing, creative projects, cooking, and spending time in nature.

No two sits are the same, so we take a thoughtful, situational approach and adapt easily to new environments, household rhythms, and cultural expectations. We love supporting animals in feeling safe, regulated, and at ease while their people are away.

Our care style is grounded in calm presence and consistency rather than control, with attentiveness to sensory and accessibility needs (including blind or senior pets), so each animal can move through their space with confidence. Our intention is always to return both the home and the animals with calm, continuity, and care.

My confirmed sitter went AWOL and finally canceled just a week before the 3 week sit. What amazing serendipity that Kimberly and Donald were already here in San Luis Obispo! We met at a park. hit it off, and agreed to the sit. I couldn't have asked for a better sitter and am so thankful to have found Kimberly and Donald. The house was spotless, my plants were in much better shape than when I left, and my pup Twix was happy. Donald took Twix for runs, and Kimberly took him for his ... Kimberly and Donald did a good job of caring for our home and pets. Place was spotless and clean. They even worked with us to stay longer when something came up for us that we couldnt be back on original date.
This was my first time traveling away from my two cats for such a long period, plus my first time booking a house sitter online, and I so appreciate how Kimberly & Donald helped me feel secure and confident that everything was going fine, even when I was thousands of miles away.
