So far we have cared for pets in our own home, but we love to travel & would like to do more of it in retirement. House Sitters came across my feed it seem to be a natural good fit for us.

When we lost our pup age 13 in 2017, her brother (litter mate) was not coping well with the loss. I started to do Rover pets sits & a Dogs on Deployment pet sit, to give him company. This work well, he seemed to enjoy the occasional company & the peace when he was king of the house. He was with us to age 17 in 2021.

During our life, we have had or cared for a wide variety of dogs. Some have required daily medicine, some very picky eaters & some afraid of thunder. They have been a variety of ... They have been a variety of sizes from 35 lb Beagle mix to 80 lb Sheppard/Lab mix & have watched my sisters 130 lb Greater Swiss Mountain Dog & my mom's 11 lb Yorkie mix. We have shared our King size bed with up to 4 dogs at 1 time & yes 1 of them was the Greater Swiss Mountain Dog. I know the stress of leaving your fur babies, when traveling. I will work to make your dog feel loved while you are away, so you can enjoy your travels, knowing they are being loved & cared for.
