It provides a more affordable way to explore different parts of the country while putting homeowners and pet lovers at ease when they are away.

I grew up on the East Coast and moved to the West Coast, where I practiced law in the Seattle/Everett area. I currently have a remote job performing legal work. I grew up around dogs, and I've cared for my own dogs and watched friends' dogs in the past (usually just for a day or two). I haven't had a cat of my own, but they have always warmed up to me.

Pet care

I have the most experience with dogs, but I also have a good rapport with cats. I'm open to watching other pets as well; you'd just need to school me on their care.

Joe was perfect for me. The most important aspect was finding someone who would care for my dogs and Joe did just that. It was like I never left and that's exactly what I was looking for.
Joe was wonderful. He took great care of our home. He’s low maintenance and we’re a somewhat high maintenance household. We returned to a clean house, happy plants and most importantly, 3 happy dogs. We took a shot at finding a last minute sitter and Joe came through. We would not hesitate to invite him again in the future if our schedules align.
We had a wonderful experience with Joe while we were away for three weeks. He cared for our home, our sweet Lilly, and our garden with great attention and kindness. We came back to a clean home, everything beautifully looked after. We would gladly recommend him!
Joe took good care of our dog and home during his stay. He was reliable, trustworthy and everything was in good order when we returned. Our dog can be a little shy with strangers but she seemed comfortable and well cared for (when she saw him later she was jumping all over him), and we appreciated the overall cleanliness of the house. Communication was generally good, we had a positive experience and would be happy to have him sit for us again. I do recommend him to others.
Joe saved the day! He did a wonderful job with our fur babies and the house. We met the day before we were scheduled to leave to introduce the pups and go over instructions. He asked good questions and took it all in. We have a binder of all of the written important information and he studied it well. He has a professional demeanor and we felt like our dogs would be in great hands. When we returned, the dogs were all peacefully sleeping on the couch and the house was in great shape. I could ...
