As one of five kids, I never had the chance to have my own pet. I jumped at the chance to pet sit for my neighbors when I was younger, and when I found this website I knew I had found a perfect opportunity! I love all animals, and would treat your animal friend(s) as though they were my own!

I love to travel, and everyone will tell you have have been itching to get out and go since I was a toddler. I enjoy SCUBA diving, backpacking, knitting, writing, flying and learning new things. I just turned 19, and am currently a senior in college. Throughout high school I took part in dual enrollment and took CLEP tests to streamline my college process. I was also active in my church and enrolled in flight school, and was a member of the Civil Air Patrol for three years.

This past April I successfully passed my Private Pilot checkride, and I just recently completed my Instrument Rating. I am a certified Red Cross Lifeguard with CPR/AED, and also an Advanced Open Water Diver. I plan on graduating with an online degree in Business in the fall of 2026. I plan to use my degree to start my own business.

I'm traveling all around the US and a bit into Canada this year. I'll be on the East coast for a few months before heading west again. To have the chance to spend time with animals and save money in the process is almost too good to be true! I'm excited to see where life takes me!

Pet care

I have taken care of hermit crabs, dogs, cats and fish for my neighbors. I have friends who have a farm, so I also helped out there when I was younger.

I will primarily be on the east coast for the spring. I'm heading north and west to Canana for the summer, and then down to Montana for the fall. After my semester finishes in November, I believe I'll still be in the Missoula area.

Lovely person and great housesitter! Gwendoline is a wonderful example of why this site works: she's gaining home ownership experience, exploring the country, and being inspired while working remotely. Our pets were very happy, she left everything tidy and honestly, I'd love for her to visit again while we are home :)
Gwen was a delight to have in our home! She took wonderful care of our 2 dogs, cat and our chickens! The house was spotless when we returned and we had the best cookies ever that she made for us! She was very good with communication while we were gone and we would love to have her house/pet sit again for us.
Gwen was great. She took excellent care of my dog and 2 cats. She was knowledgeable and easy to work with. Vesper loved her and my cats finally warmed up to her. Gwen followed all my instructions regarding pet and house care. I would definitely have her back again.
Gwen was amazing super responsive, did great with our chickens and the house was spotless when she left. I would absolutely recommend her. THANK YOU GWEN so much you made our trip so relaxing not having to worry about our feathered babies!
Gwen was fabulous. During my five-day trip, she took care of my cat, Squeak, keeping her happy and relaxed, and making sure she got plenty of love. I returned to a clean, well-maintained home that looked just as I left it. What set Gwen apart was her kindness, she baked me a delicious loaf of bread as a parting gift. Squeak was calm and content when I got back, which says everything. I would recommend Gwen to anyone looking for a trustworthy and thoughtful pet and house sitter.
