We’re Tana and Eduardo, a husband-and-wife duo living the digital nomad life and sharing our passion for animals wherever we go.

We’re Tana and Eduardo, a husband-and-wife duo living the digital nomad life and sharing our passion for animals wherever we go.

Over the past decade, we’ve fostered more than 50 dogs (in Illinois and Colorado), many rescued from high-risk shelters in the South, and helped countless puppies, kittens, and litters find their forever homes. ❤️

Tana has spent years fostering and volunteering with shelters across the U.S., while Eduardo grew up on his family’s farm, caring for horses, livestock, and a variety of animals big and small. Together, we bring hands-on experience, patience, and genuine love to every pet we meet.

From dogs, cats, and bunnies to birds and even horses, we’re comfortable with animals of all kinds. Active pups will enjoy long walks or hikes with us, while senior or shy companions will have a calm, nurturing environment while we work from your home (Mon–Fri, mornings through afternoons).

Life on the road gives us the freedom to dedicate time and attention to your furry family. We treat every pet as if they were our own—and yes, we have a soft spot for quirky animals too (our favorite “unique” ones are raccoons 🦝!).

Tana is also experienced with medical care and administering medications, so pets with special needs are in good hands.

Whether your companion needs adventure, cuddles, or extra care, we’d love to help. Let’s set up an online meet-and-greet to ensure both you and your furry (or feathered!) friend feel comfortable with us!

Pet care

Alongside dogs, we’ve fostered countless cats and rescued multiple litters, ensuring they received the care and socialization needed to thrive. Small pets like bunnies, rodents, and birds have also been part of our foster journey.

Tana brings years of hands-on foster and volunteer experience with shelters across the U.S., as well as trusted Rover clients who’ve shared glowing reviews. Eduardo grew up on his family’s farm, caring for horses and livestock.

We travel freely without strict plans, booking month by month to stay flexible and explore. We are in Alaska until fall 2026 and are looking to sit anywhere around HI starting Thanksgiving week until March 2027. Coming back to Alaska in May through fall.

They left the house in perfect condition, They took our dog for walks regardless of the weather, and allowed our dog and our cats to climb all over them for extra love. It was a joy to meet them. The dates for the house sit were adjusted so Tana and Eduardo just arrived a few days ago. Spent an hour or so discussing the house sit, the local area and getting them introduced to Lucky. Lucky took right to them. He is in very good hands, and I was very comfortable leaving on my trip.

This was my first time using Housesitters, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Tana and Eduardo completely exceeded any expectations I might have conjured.
