I find it easier to focus on whatever projects I'm working on at the time when away from the routines of my hometown, and at the same time enjoying the beautiful surroundings of the places I visit. I also enjoy the company of the pets I care for. Overall, I love new adventures.

Responsible adult, recently retired but not slowing down, looking for a more interesting way to spend my days. I'm neat and orderly, and will care for your property like it is my own. I love having the freedom to travel without time constraints.
I engage in creative projects such as graphic design, website design, writing, etc. and look forward to that while caring for your property.

Pet care

Have owned dogs and cats, anything else you'll have to show me what to do. I'm not afraid of any animals...except maybe godzilla.

Guy is extraordinary. As he began his 20 hour drive to our home, his car began acting up. Knowing we had a flight to catch two days later, he returned home and bought a plane ticket to make certain he got to us in time. Then, while sitting for us, our dog unexpectedly became quite ill. He took her to our vet and then provided follow-up care (meds, temp-taking, etc), and generally looked after her as if she were his own. His conscientiousness and concern were evident throughout. Our vet told us he was a "gem." All the while, he communicated regularly with us about her status and to discuss next steps. Clearly, our dog could not have been in better hands. Additionally, we came home weeks later to a spotless house, a thriving garden, and a neatly mowed lawn. We cannot recommend Guy enough!

This was my first house sitting experience so I relied on Guy’s reviews which were excellent. Now I know why. He is a fantastic house sitter. He came a day before we left so we got to know him and we felt relaxed with him from the start. Our main concerns for care were our two cats and our pool. Guy took care of our lawn and plants too. Our house was cleaner than when we left. The cats took to him immediately. It was such a relief while we were away knowing Guy was at our house. We spoke ... It gives me great pleasure to review Guy, who took incredible care of our house and 3 large Labradors! Guy was amazing, he communicated and took photos and videos of the house and dogs each day while we were out of the country on a different time zone! He battled the cold elements of Maine during a harsh winter, even clearing the driveway and porches of snow, 3 or 4 times during February. He handled an escaping dog issue we had very well, even communicating with the local authorities on our ... Guy was conscientious, communicative, accountable, and our saviour! He had the unfortunate big Nashville Ice Storm to contend with, and nearly froze with the power outage at our home, while insuring our cat, Meowzie was safe. He searched our basement to find inadequate tools to cut away huge branches from our driveway, in order to make it to a hotel for his final night, but again, made sure Meowzie was safe and sound. We came home to find our power on, and our house spotless even in spite what ... MoreGuy was conscientious, communicative, accountable, and our saviour! Guy was absolutely fantastic while staying with our two big dogs! It was remarkable to see our usually standoffish pup warm up to him immediately.
