I am a responsible, non-smoking, animal loving, mature and active gruy . I have consistently house sat and seen to pets for the last decade in my local areas. From special needs chihuahuas to shorthaired pointer bird dogs. Most recently, I spent 14 months housesitting a vacation home in my hometown. I cleaned up their messes and held down the fort till he returned.

I have had some sort of pet animal all my life. Dogs, cats, turtles, and fish. Oh, and a fox squirrel that I nursed from a young pinkie to maturity. I showed goats as a kid and also had a few rabbits. More recently, I’ve tended to rabbits and quail.

I call myself a jack of half the trades. Being quite handy, you can rest assured your home and property are in good hands. Any emergency that could arise, I am confident in either handling, or at least diagnosing the problem and seeking the proper avenues of remediation. I can complete additional tasks of certain renovations and maintenances for compensation.

I am financially secure and can operate my sales platforms from anywhere. After staying a month and half in Brazil several years ago, the question is always begging… Why am I not somewhere else? The tourist mentality having long ago been shed, I am looking to keep it domestic to further experience the people and perspectives of the nation. Housesitting is the best match to my lifestyle, and the best avenue to ever-broadening my horizons and perspective.

Ryan did an excellent job. We have two dogs. The older one is a little grumpy and very protective of her home. The younger one is a good-time girl. She was easy. When Ryan showed up the older dog growled and barked at him. He took his time to get to know her and finally was able gave her a great big hug. Thats all it took. She went to him even after we got back home. He did an excellent job watering our large garden and tended to our large chicken flock. He took very good care of our house ... He regularly communicated with us on our cruise and kept us appraised of how things were going. We let him use our car and encouraged him to visit the local area. He did and returned the car in perfect condition We hope to have him house sit for us again next year.
