We love house sitting because it lets us slow travel and see the world before settling down while still keeping a routine. We both work remotely, so we naturally spend a lot of time at home, and we like being able to give pets attention throughout the day. It's what we do at home!

A bit about us: JD graduated from Texas A&M with a degree in mechanical engineering and now works remotely as a software engineer at a startup. Joslyn is a grants manager at a pet shelter in Austin, so animals are a big part of both of our lives. Our work setup allows us to be home for the workday, so we are extra available for your pet(s).

We live pretty quiet lives; we enjoy walking, cooking, along with occasional adventures. We also love baseball, and would love to attend a game at each of the American ballparks.

We have plenty of experience taking care of animals and really love pets. JD grew up with 3 golden retrievers, a cat, and fish. We have two dogs, and we recently adopted a puppy named Sadie from the pet shelter where Joslyn works.

We would love to give your pets stability and love while you are gone.

JD was a wonderful sitter. He give me regular updated on our cats and responds quickly. He was respectful of the place and keep it clean.
JD took care of my home and 3 dogs and 1 cat for a week. He did a great job and communicated well throughout. Most importantly, I came home to happy pets. I recommend JD.
We had a great experience with JD! He took great care of our bunnies and our place, communication was clear, and he left everything clean and tidy. We totally recommend him for anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter. A very minor preference thing: if you're someone who likes frequent and detailed updates, you might need to clearly establish that expectation.
JD was extremely helpful and caring while watching our home and 2 Frenchies. He was responsible, kept the house spotless and was easy to communicate with and made the whole process easy. We would recommend him to anyone looking for a responsible and caring house sitter!
