I have a genuine love for animals, and they know that, because they love me right back. It is really easy for me to quickly bond with cats, dogs, birds (that includes parakeets, conures, macaws, chickens, geese, turkeys and ducks!), rabbits, horses, llamas, alpacas, cows, donkeys, goats, sheep and pigs, even deer, or whatever animals that are in need of care.

All farm animals are people to me, they have opinions and feelings, and my job is to keep them happy, safe and fed.

I know that euthanasia is sometimes the mercyful thing, but to kill a healthy animal for food (or worse: money) is unthinkable and unacceptable to me.

Marion was exactly what we wanted. She took care of Oliver, a nine pound Mattese, just like we would. We never had to worry if he was being loved and pampered. Marion is all in for being your pets nanny. Both Oliver and Marion had a touching goodby moment when she left.
Marion is a delight. Odin loved her and we enjoyed meeting her.
Marion was extremely helpful - we found ourselves needing a pet sitter last minute and Marion had recently had a cancellation, and we were able to quickly speak on the phone, have a video chat and agree on everything. She communicated about her plane tickets to come and adjusted the timing of arrival and departure to best meet the pets needs, and she sent notes and pictures throughout the stay. It was a huge relief to know our kiddos were well taken care of. Thank you Marion!

Marion was awesome. Everything was well communicated from start to finish, she took great care of our cats and the house. Great communication. She genuinely cared for our 4 cats and showed.
Marion was a great sitter for our hobby farm! She was organized from the start and communicated well back and forth about everything. We really enjoyed having Marion come pet sit. Sadly one passed away a couple of weeks before she came, so she just had our little Georgie to care for. Marion had great communication before and during her stay. Georgie was a little timid after losing her "beau" Mikey but Marion comforted her while we were gone and even got kisses from Georgie on the morning she was leaving. Which tells us alot! Georgie, being a rescue dachshund does not bond easily with strangers, but Marion pulled it off. If ... MoreWe really enjoyed having Marion come pet sit. Marion left dirty dishes in the sink and on the stove, as well as food waste in several places, and while she did reach out to tell me this would be the case, I found the explanation that her time of departure snuck up on her rather strange, since she had been there for more than a month by the time she left. I am very disappointed to receive such a bad review. I had only subsequently learnt that I was hired mainly to save him the cost of lawn care. My forte is and always will be pet care. I had only subsequently learnt that I was hired mainly to save him the cost of lawn care. My forte is and always will be pet care. My utmost priority is always the happiness and wellbeing of the pets. As he admits, his cats were taken care of excellently. I had struggled with a bad infection for the last 2 weeks prior of my departure. Unlike other sitters I did not quit my post, I dealt with it on location and never compromised in pet care. I am sorry I couldn't leave the kitchen as sparkly as he expected under these circumstances. About the lawncare: the ground was uneven and the battery driven mower did not cut as low as I would have liked. I had mowed the lawn the day before my departure, so there is no way it was "overgrown"!

Marion is a true animal lover with relevant knowledge and experience. She took excellent care of my elderly cat. Even made sure the outdoor bird feeders were full.
As a veterinarian I appreciate a housesitter/petsitter who is very experienced and knowledgeable. Marion certainly fits that description. She is trustworthy and dependable. I was completely comfortable leaving my animals in her care, knowing they would be pampered and tended competently!
Marion got along famously with my 2 dogs and a stray cat that someone dumped on me right before I left. She did a great job and I will call on her again.
Marion was a wonderful sitter for Ollie. She came in a day early to learn about his schedule and was very attentive to details. She was very quick to respond if I had a question and sent us daily pictures of Ollie. He took to Marion right away, she is a warm and caring person and I think he could sense that. Marion also took extra precautions to keep Ollie from hearing fireworks over the holiday weekend because he is so afraid of the noise. I would highly recommend Marion.
