30+ years of experience traveling has taught me to be patient, calm, and flexible thus gifting me with many opportunities to meet incredible humans and animals alike. Over the years I have cared for pets of various temperaments and phases of life, as well as administering meds.

I possess an easygoing style and am highly communicative. I treat my surroundings with respect so light cleaning/tidying along the way is commonplace for me and maintaining household greenery can be provided. With many opportunities to travel for both work and personal adventure I have the lived-experience required to handle the shifting sands of life along with the patience to provide a perfect lap for napping in, or so I've been told.

I lovingly cared for my own sweet American Staffordshire/Boxer mix rescue, Gabby. And was often caring for fur-babies of friends who enjoyed traveling. More recently, I've had the wonderful opportunity to become a live-in caretaker (3yrs) to a sweet and lively canine crew in between seasonal client bookings.

I can relate to how important finding trusted care is when traveling, therefore it's been a privilege to provide that peace of mind. I look forward to meeting you on your journey and for you to become a part of mine!

It's typical for me to roadtrip to and from clients. Often finding a day or two visiting friends/family along my chosen route. I give myself plenty of time to enjoy and arrive fresh, often the evening before to connect and have a chat, ensuring a smooth transition.

Starr was the best sitter we’ve ever had hands down. Between the quirky pictures she sent of our pup, and the cleanliness of our house that was maintained, we’ve never had an experience as good as this one. Only reason I’m hesitant in giving a good review is I don’t want her to be unavailable the next time we need her. Also, her fun little sum up page of her time here was super cute and a fun read.

We are so lucky to have found Starr! She is so attentive to our kitties and our needs as anxious parents to keep us well-informed. She goes the extra step...above and beyond, even checking on our plants and moving them inside during a winter storm. We feel deeply comforted knowing that our girls are in her loving, capable hands. We always come home to happy kitties, happy plants and a tidy home.

Starr is so kind and easy to talk to. We knew our house and our cat Marie would be left in the best hands during our trip. She took amazing care of both! She sent us daily updates on Marie which we really appreciated. We came home to our house just as clean as we left it as well. We would definitely confirm her again for another sit and welcome her back to our home in the future!
Starr was a great sitter for us over the holidays. We got to meet beforehand to chat so I was comfortable with her staying in our home. She gave us updates and responded quickly when I had a question. Our pup loved the attention she got. Starr left the house in perfect condition. We would definitely try to book Starr again if we needed a Housesitter.
