We are a retired couple who have both had cats and dogs that lived long and happy lives. We welcome the opportunity to adopt yours as well, and shower them with affection while you are gone. We love animals, enjoy visiting new places, and pet sitting assignments are a good fit for us.

Though we are now living a more carefree lifestyle, often traveling about in our vintage Volkswagen Bus, we were home owners for 35 years. As such, we are familiar with the investment we all have in our homes (whether we own them or not), and we respect other people's property. We are quite comfortable in the role of temporary live-in caretaker. We hope we can be of service, and thank you for your consideration.

Diane & Richard did an absolutely fabulous job Pet Sitting my THREE DOGS and home while I took a 10-day vacation. They were excellent at managing a challenging situation by juggling a foster dog with dog-dog "Reactivity Issues" to make certain that my two older dogs were safely kept in separate areas, and rotated between the house and yard so that everyone got time for human love, as well as being outdoors for exercise and sunshine. They were excellent in communicating any hiccups, and went above and beyond to take one of my dogs to the Vet for extra bandage changes to a wound on his foot because he kept pulling off the wrap. - Diane & Richard are a detail-oriented Team and work well together to make certain that all pet and household needs are met. Having Diane and Richard as our house sitters was a wonderful experience. They arrived a day early to get to know our family and learn our children's routines, which immediately put us at ease. While we were away, their daily updates allowed us to be completely carefree and worry-free. We chose to cut our trip short by a day & were able to spend time sharing stories with them. They are more than welcome to return for a future house sit or simply to stop by for a cup of coffee.
Diane and Richard are extraordinary! They did and outstanding job of taking care of our cat, our home , and our yard and gardens for three months. They went above and beyond any expectations I have ever had with house sitters. They are a competent, reliable team. The pool was kept pool crystal clean, they troubleshooted problems with the internet, diagnosed a problem with our car and much more. Upon our return, we found our home spotless and a very happy kitty. Diane and Richard are delightful ... MoreDiane and Richard are extraordinary! These are the people you are looking for. We felt so comfortable with them knowing they were such honest, caring, trustworthy individuals. They stayed 3 weeks in our older, not fancy ,house and left it nicer than it was when we entrusted them with it.Our dog was so well cared for with careful consideration for everything we had mentioned. We've already invited them back to stay but unfortunately they're not available. This is the best you'll get ,honestly. I can't recommend them enough and ... Diane and Richard were at my house with my cat for five weeks and I can say I never had one bit of worry. They treated my house very gently and did everything they were supposed to. They are responsible ! That is always a relief when one is far away. My cat basically disappeared with only one surprise sighting in five weeks. But my house is small and my Luka is, unfortunately, a fraidy-cat who has difficulty adapting to one sitter at a time, let alone two. Both Diane and Richard are ... Diane and Richard did a great job taking care of our dog while we were away, definitely much better than what would have happened with boarding. Additionally, they provided us with the security of having our house occupied and taken care of.
Diane and Richard are amazing house and pet sitters. Their communication was excellent, they showed up when they said they would, they took excellent care of my house and pets. My house was spotless, my cat absolutely loved Diane, and they are just the nicest people. Honest, kind, friendly. Highly, highly recommended, we will use them again!
Diane and Richard are such wonderful people. From our first conversation I knew they would be great pet sitters. My little Peanut received so much love and attention while they were here. I think Peanut was even not too happy when I came home as I don't throw the toy as much as Diane and Richard did!! They sent me photos throughout the month.The house was spotless when i returned and my garden was happy too! I highly recommend them and hope to have them back again!!
Diane and Rich were terrific house sitters with good communication skills and the home was left in great condition. Agreeable to arrive day before to discuss any questions. Mister was well taken cared of from the start.

Richard and Diane have stayed at our home 5 different times. We have been extremely happy with all aspects of their presence in our home. They love our crazy (fun) pets and take superior care of them, as well as being very attentive to the garden and any other requested tasks. They are very easy to communicate with before and during sits, and often send photos to let us know how the pets are doing (who are having way more fun than when we are home!)
