We are Kathy and Bob. We are a friendly, easy going, hard-working couple who have spent our time together pursuing and appreciating the arts, culture and travel the area has to offer along with the abundant amount of restaurants and beaches.

We are Kathy and Bob. We are a friendly, easy going, hard-working couple who have spent our time together pursuing and appreciating the arts, culture and travel the area has to offer along with the abundant amount of restaurants and beaches.

We have done twenty seven housesits thru this site and have decided that we really enjoy this lifestyle...especially the variety it offers. We have taken care of twenty-one dogs and twenty five cats...plus one outside cat that we fed every day but never saw.

We are a fit and active couple who will care for your home and pets as if they were our own. We are responsible, organized, and non-smoking. We will leave your home the way you left it. We have always owned a home (between the two of us) and are experienced with the upkeep and maintenance a home requires.

We have had many dogs and cats in our lifetime from rescues to purebreds.

Our main goal will be the care of your home and pets along with the opportunity to get to know your area of the world a little better.

Housesitting provides an opportunity to get to know the area as a "local", an opportunity to unpack and an opportunity to make our coffee/tea the way we like it in the morning.

We understand how hard it is to leave your home and have to put your pets in a kennel while you are gone. We hope to give you some peace of mind knowing that they are being well cared for.

Bob is a retired engineer who grew up in the Poconos of Pennsylvania. He has spent time in different areas of the country along with time spent in Europe. He can speak German along with English.

Kathy is currently semi retired having done office work most of her life in the Chicagoland area.

We will make sure your pets are fed, plants are watered, mail picked up, and any routine task completed. We will send you pictures of your pets as often as you would like while you are gone so you can enjoy your trip.

Bob and Kathy were wonderful house sitters. Communication was clear and easy between us. They are friendly and knowledgeable, and my dogs loved them immediately. My plants even looked great when we returned! I feel lucky to have met them and am grateful they took such good care of our dogs and home.

Kathy and Bob were kind enough to come meet the crew and see our home before our daughter's wedding weekend. They were very attentive, on time and kept us updated. We will surely ask them to come again! The pets were all very happy when we got home - which has not always been the case with some other pet sitters (not through this service). Thank you, Kathy & Bob, for giving us peace to enjoy our time away from our home for the first time since moving here in April 25.
Kathy and Bob were amazing in all aspects. Bob was our own personal travel agent with info about our future trip and Kathy's communication prior during and post sit/trip was smooth and informative to put us at comfort while we were away on vacation. The care for the house and the pups was above and beyond. We will be trying to acquire their services again on our next trip and would highly recommend them to anyone and everyone.
Kathy and Bob were great. We had no worries while we’re gone, feeling confident our dog and our home were in good hands. They were flexible with arrival and departure plan and seemed to enjoy their time here. Couldn’t have asked for better and would not hesitate to have them again.
Great people! Loved our Cooper and took great care of him. They left the house the way they found it, Kathy must have a green thumb cuz my plants are doing great! They cleaned up after Cooper, which our sitters in 2022 did not do after four weeks! We had to come home two days early due to an illness, and they were very understanding about it. Highly recommend this couple! Hope to have them again. Thanks Kathy snd Bob!
I had no issues with Kathy! She checked in on her own and I came home to a neat house and a fed cat.

All was perfect when we came home. The house was clean, the cat was happy, all good! Easy communication throughout the stay and we received regular updates how everything is going. Thank you Kathy and Bob! If you want to do another stay, let us know :-)
Kathy and Bob were amazing in every way! They communicated well before and during the sit. We have two young cats and we're worried about leaving them, but it was obvious they were happy and so well taken care of while we were away. Kathy sent pics to us regularly, which was nice. When we got home my place was spotless and the cats were calm and happy. It was such a pleasure and I'm so thankful to them both. They are also very kind, intelligent people and I enjoyed our conversations.
Bob and Kathy sat for us (and our cat Reno) recently and I can't see any reason not to award them a five-star rating! Aside from just generally being nice folks, they communicated well in advance of the sit, they arrived right on time, they took good care of Reno in our absence, and the place was spotless upon our return. Kathy and Bob were excellent house sitters. They cared for our 2 dogs, Jake and Layla, and were pleasant company when we were together. We look forward to sharing our home with them again in the future!!
We were so thrilled with Kathy and Bob. We came home to an extremely clean house, thriving plants, and happy dogs. They were very thoughtful and sent daily texts with pics to let us know all was well. They even filled our bird feeder. We could not have asked for a better experience.
Extremely happy with our first experience doing this. Niko was well looked after. Kathy and Bob were respectful of our house and took great care of our dog Niko. Honestly, our house was probably cleaner when we got home then when we left! Will absolutely reach out again when the need arises. Highly recommend them
The actual date was 2021. We had originally planned this trip in 2020 but had to cancel due to the Covid pandemic and Kathy and Bob were very understanding. We later rescheduled for similar dates in 2021. Kathy a d Bob were very flexible with this whole process. They arrived at our home precisely as we had discussed and were a pleasure to visit with. They took exceptional care of our home and cat and we would welcome them back anytime.

Wonderful couple. Took care of our fish pond and garden plants in the drought. I felt we were in great hands. Louie loved Kathy and Bob and he didn't even seem to care we were home! I would highly recommend them

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Kathy and Bob. They went above and beyond with our recent housesit. The house was so well taken care of, it looked just as it did when we left or better. Bob was so diligent at keeping the yard up and plants alive. He even made sure that the grass was cut the day we got home so that nothing had to be done for a little while. I have 2 cats and 1 dog. Unfortunately, 2 days before we were to leave, our 1 cat decided to quit eating due to advancing stages ... MoreI cannot say enough wonderful things about Kathy and Bob. Kathy and Bob just spent a week at my home and I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation. They endured the 100+ temps with a smile on their faces and took great care of my cat who needed meds twice a day. My home looked fantastic when I returned. There is not one suggestion I could give them for improvement and they are reliable and self-sufficient. Thank you Bob and Kathy for allowing me to truly enjoy my vacation without worry!

Kathy & Bob were wonderful house sitters. They watched our senior cat (who needs medication) & our home for 5 weeks this Spring. Kathy responded quickly to any texts I sent & kept me updated on how things were going. When we returned home our house was very clean. Everything in its place, houseplants healthy & most important our cat Dusty was relaxed & happy. We would be happy to have them sit anytime!
