Much like pets, every home has its own sense of character. I enjoy getting to briefly experience both from a different point of view.

If anyone was tailor-made to live the nomadic lifestyle of a home sitter, a professional photographer with a military upbringing has to be in the top ten.

I am a dedicated small business owner (most recently Sit & Stay) and photographer based in Los Angeles. Because I'm not location dependent, I have the flexibility to work from anywhere provided there is reliable high speed internet access. I am a dedicated small business owner (most recently Sit & Stay) and photographer based in Los Angeles. Because I'm not location dependent, I have the flexibility to work from anywhere provided there is reliable high speed internet access. I sit both domestically & internationally, have dozens of references on major platforms, and mostly work with repeat happy Homeowners and their fur families.

I offer common sense, patience, responsibility, attention to detail, a sense of humor, the need for silliness, maturity, adventure, affinity towards tools, respect for your home, and good company for your fur family.

And, in addition to the 'furry and fishy people' I've met and cared for via House Sitters, over the years I've been companion, chef, playmate, sofa, and custodian to six loving and occasionally rambunctious dogs.

I'm also a non-smoker, thrifty, responsible, pragmatic, independent, and a tad bossy (according to my siblings).

As for the home-sit, a few things to consider:
*Sits (max. 2 pets) include basic home care. Travel beyond 50 miles from Los Angeles prompts a fee.
*I'll need to know, in advance, about any special needs so I can give your pets the care they need and deserve.
*I do not accept sits in isolated, 420 friendly (I'm allergic to smoke), or home-steading locales.
*I am not available for home-shares, vacation rental management, Airbnb, VRBO, or real estate tasks.
*Let me know if your home is multi-level

*Interior home care including light housework and mail collection

Ysa was a fantastic sitter - competent, professional, and pays attention to detail. There's nothing like coming back from a long trip to find happy pets and a spotless house! We simply could not recommend Ysa strongly enough.

We highly recommend Ysa! She is professional and thorough. When she arrived for the handoff we were scrambling to get ready for our trip and she helped by offering taking out the trash! While we were away, we received updates and photos from Ysa that reassured us that our two cats were happy and being well taken care of. Our flight was delayed a day and Ysa was able to stay the extra night. She even offered to pick up anything we needed for our return! When we got home our place was cleaner ... Ysa took wonderful care of my home, dog, cat and plants for a ten day trip that turned into a 15 day trip and took care of my dog, cat and plants. Because of work I had to extend my trip and fortunately the change worked out for Ysa. She went to the trouble of coming in advance to meet my pets and get the layout. I received pictures and updates while I was gone. I returned home to a perfectly clean home, but best of all I could tell the animals had been well taken care of because they ... Ysa was so nice and managed whatever came up, like when my friend randomly decided to drop of a piece of furniture unannounced. I highly recommend Ysa.

Ysa was absolutely amazing! She made us feel very comfortable while we were on our almost two week vacation. She continued sending us updates on our two pups and was always available to contact. When we returned home the house was even more clean than we left it and our dogs were very happy. Thanks Ysa for watching over our home and pups!

I couldn't ask for a better house/pet sitter than Ysa. She left the house looking better than when we left it! We were away for about 2.5 weeks and not once did I worry about my home or my kitty because I knew they were in good hands. Ysa made sure to talk with us before we left, prepared her own contract and provided us with all relevant information about herself before sitting the house. She was friendly and open and respectful and very communicative and I would recommend her to sit ... MoreI couldn't ask for a better house/pet sitter than Ysa. Ysa was very professional and has some paperwork for the home owner to fill out, including an emergency evacuation plan. She had definitely thought of some possibilities that we had not! She took good care of our home, pets and plants and checked in anytime she had a question. She graciously handled scheduling an exterminator (and a handyman visit) when some ants decided our home was their home the night before we left for vacation. We really lucked out when Ysa offered to housesit for us and to watch our two dogs. From the very first Skype intro conversation, we felt at ease and knew that it will all be alright. When we were gone for 20 days, Ysa took amazing care of our dogs and kept in touch throughout this time. Dogs were so content when we got back. When they saw Ysa again, they went nuts from excitement, we could just tell they fell in love madly. It's not easy to leave your pets with someone, but it was so easy ... It was an absolute delight to have Ysa stay at our home and look after our two cats. We were impressed with her professionalism, her warm and welcoming personality, and her genuine love of animals. Our home and pets were very well looked after, and we came home to a spotless home, two happy cats, and a delicious homemade treat. We would recommend Ysa as a sitter in a heartbeat, and look forward to potential future sits from her. We would love to have her come back again.

Ysa was a terrific house and pet sitter for our week away! She took very good care of our 2 cats and the house was immaculate on our return. We were also surprised to find a yummy treat that she had made and left for us! We would welcome Ysa back anytime if she ever wanted some more beach time!

Ysa was absolutely the best! She was thoughtful and reliable, took wonderful care of our kitty (sending us photos from time to time), and left our house in perfect shape upon our return. There was even a baked treat waiting for us in the refrigerator! Ysa went above and beyond when a windstorm blew over a pot and broke it, necessitating the purchase of a new pot and re-potting of the tree. I would not hesitate to have Ysa house sit for us any time in the future.

Ysa was a wonderful housesitter, and I highly recommend her. She was very communicative, responsive, on time, responsible and kind to our pets, and very caring of our home. We all liked her...pets and people both. Our home was in better shape than when we left, and she left behind a baked treat. We would welcome her back in a flash.

We loved Ysa and our puppies did too. After our trip, we were very surprised out home was cleaner than before our trip. You will not get a better sitter and we both highly recommend her
