We are excited to have the opportunity to come into your home, for a temporary time, to assist you; for we are traveling missionaries and our mission is to serve God by helping others. The income from house sitting helps cover our traveling expenses and facilitates our ability to continue to help others and be a blessing.

We take seriously overseeing your home and caring for your precious pets. We hope to be a blessing to you in the process. We are seasoned, experienced house/pet sitters. We have a high respect for other people's property and privacy. We want to assure you that you can feel confident with us, that your home and dear pets have been entrusted to dependable, honest, considerate, and loving individuals who have, and use, good common sense.

Rob and I have been together for over 37 years. We owned our own business cleaning floors and furniture, including removing spots and stains from upholstery and carpet. We were also professional painters. Rob was a handy man who's done a wide variety of repairs, and still does this if you have a need. Just let him know what you need/ want done and you can discuss the details and what he would charge. We charge fair rates and since you will be gone, there is no inconvenience to you! Everything is complete and beautiful when you return!

If any issues come up in your absence, Rob has the skills, knowledge and experience to handle it! (Sometimes that may be knowing what professional needs to be called and properly explaining the issue.) Rob does excellent work; I assist him with this work and clean up thoroughly after. (I was a professional cleaner for many years.)

Our hobbies include cooking, organizing, theater acting, reading, writing stories of our travels, researching, and writing plays. We also enjoy traveling and seeing new sights! We love meeting new people. We are friendly, inter-personal people who make friends wherever we travel!

We truly enjoy meeting and getting to know animals! Each and everyone have their own personality, and favorite things to do. We go for long walks each day, and sharing this activity with a sweet dog, or two, makes it that much more enjoyable! Relaxing in the evening to watch TV with a sweet cat, or dog, on our laps to pet and love on is the best!!

We have discovered it often works best to come to your home a day or two in advance to learn your routines for continuity for your fur babies, and to discuss any questions either of us may have. This also relieves any possible stress for you, if you may worry about the sitters showing up on time.

We are willing to commit to extra days should your return flight, or trip, be delayed. We want to make it easy on you, hopefully worry-free, and maintain a pleasant, loving environment for your pets. We try our best to love and pamper your pets so they won't miss you as much and will be contented and happy when you return.

I do my best to have everything clean and tidy upon your return, including fresh linens on the bed and in the bathrooms. Our goal is to exceed your expectations and leave you thanking God that you chose us!

Pet care

We have cared for horses and donkeys, a tortoise, birds, chickens, roosters and ducks, rabbits, hamsters and ferrets, and of course cats and dogs. Some have required special diets, some required meds, others needed injections - all part of the job. High energy dogs need exercise &/or walks, which ... Read moreWe have cared for horses and donkeys, a tortoise, birds, chickens, roosters and ducks, rabbits, hamsters and ferrets, and of course cats and dogs. Some have required special diets, some required meds, others needed injections - all part of the job. High energy dogs need exercise &/or walks, which is great, we need that too and walks are so much more fun with a dog or two! Some pets are elderly and need tender care and loving, perhaps a little help getting around - we get that. We send pictures, updates and sometimes videos to you so you can see that your babies are doing well during your absence.

We become their temporary Grandma & Grandpa - doting on them, giving them lots of attention and love, taking pictures, even spoiling them a bit.

Donna and Rob returned for a second pet sit and did an excellent job of caring for our 3 dogs and the house while we were gone for 3 weeks. They looked after the house as if it were their own, and actually left it cleaner than when we left - including cleaning the refrigerator! They are very trustworthy and we recommend them.

This is an updated review. We’ve had Donna and Rob care for our pets while we were away for several times now for at least 2 weeks at a time. Firstly, and most importantly, our 4 dogs LOVE them. They take such great care with our pets and our house. It’s so great to have such peace of mind while away. We get photos and videos too from them which are always great to see. I highly recommend them!

All the reviews are true! Donna and Rob are amazing house/pet sitters. They looked after our 3 dogs so well for the 3 weeks we were out of the country, and kept us up to date daily - including cute photos and videos. One of our dogs is shy and takes a while to warm up to strangers but she was fine with both of them. And our other 2 are big boys - 80 and 100 lb who have to be let out separately into our large dog run - and they had a whale of a time with Donna and Rob -- including lots of ... You would be hard-pressed to find a better couple to house sit for you. We had Rob and Donna housesit for us while we were on an extended vacation overseas. They simply did a phenomenal job of not only caring of our home, but more importantly taking great care of our German Shepherd Sammy so he didn't have to be boarded. This was our first experience working with a house sitter, but Rob & Donna's experience made the process simple and stress-free, We have 5 horses, 2 cats, 17 chickens, and a dog, so this was a more complicated house sitting assignment. Our cat was healthy and happy upon our return and our plants were just as we left them! That was our hope and goal with having a house sitter. Our home and property was well respected during their stay. We would recommend them as house sitters!
Donna and Rob were beyond 5 star sitters. They dropped everything to rescue my pup when we were overseas and our arranged sitter let us down. They loved on our pup and kept her busy with balls and toys. Donna was so great at communicating and we often chatted on Whatsapp on the phone so I could see my pup and she always looked totally contented and happy. Donna and Rob were wonderful with our pets and home. The photos sent were awesome and the dogs were clearly well looked after and pampered. Our house was in tip top shape when we came home as well. They were very accommodating for some shifting plans due to a family emergency which we are so grateful for. They definitely provided "peace of mind" for us! Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Donna and Rob are GREAT! This was the second time house sitting for me. They are clean, responsible, reliable, friendly--I could go on. They are genuinely nice people and are quickly becoming friends. My pets, Brodie (dog) and Gio (cat) love them. They are gentle and loving people. And they are fun. They took excellent care of my home while I was away. I felt very comfortable leaving things in their hands. Thank you Donna and Rob, you are each a gift!

A wonderful couple. Not only did they take care of our home, our hummingbirds, and our fish, but before they left, they made us a chicken pot pie, chili con carne (we need the recipe), a ham and bean soup (another recipe we want), and a pickled bean appetizer. It took us a week to devour it. We'll welcome them back for our next trip if they're available.

We were blessed with the cream of the crop of House Sitters. Rob & Donna stayed at our house and they actually came 4 days early. It felt good to have that transition for our animals instead of being abrupt with them arriving and then us leaving. Not a usual situation but it was so fun! They treated our home like it was theirs and immediately took to our animals! They were also very gracious about the fact that we have some rooms in our house that are under a little bit of construction. ... MoreWe were blessed with the cream of the crop of House Sitters. We are so lucky to have connected with Donna and Rob, we would highly recommend them to anyone that is considering having them come for a sit. They were amazing with our kitties and took great care of our house. This was the first winter in our home and as an older home, built in 1890, it was really comforting to know that Rob had experience around the house. He was even able to help with some small projects that we had been meaning to tackle. All in all a great experience!

The amazing thing about Donna and Rob is how much they CARE about doing this housesitting work. They are completely trustworthy, left the house looking super clean when we returned, and treated our little dog like a King! They texted a few questions to clarify some details and sent updates while we were away. They sure have set a high standard for future house sitters!

Rob and Donna were absolutely amazing! They were in constant communication with me. As a first time user of a house-sitter, they immediately put my mind at ease. While away, Donna would send pictures of my pets to me to let me know they were doing okay and to help ease my anxiety of being away from them. Donna and Rob were very flexible when our plans kept changing. I would highly, highly recommend them and hope to use them again in the future.

The dogs were happy and calm on our return; they'd clearly been given lots of attention and interaction. Dave the Cat absolutely fell in love with Donna and Rob! Donna sang her customized songs and Rob recited his poetry. Our house was well-looked after and I loved coming home a few times during the winter to appointments and errands. Rob has the BEST recipe for stuffed cabbage rolls! Davey (THE Cat) did splendidly and was spoiled by Donna and Rob with their almost-24/7 company. They are a hard act to follow, so hard that I was tempted to send them on their merry way with Dave! Donna and Rob were a great addition to our list of the wonderful house sitters we have had. The animals were well taken care (read spoiled) and enjoyed Rob and Donna as much as Donna and Rob seemed to enjoy them! We felt confident in their abilities and grew to appreciate them as friends. We were very happy to have Donna and Rob care for our home and pets. It is assuring to know that you can leave your possessions to someone you can trust. There were many things to attend to as to house care and pet care but they did a great job, nothing was left undone. The house was clean and orderly when we returned and the puppies were happy. We would highly recommend them for future "sits". Best of luck to them in their book writing endeavor.

Leaving the keys to your home in the hands of total strangers is a scary thing to do, but Donna and Rob couldn't have been a better fit for my kitties or for my piece of mind! They were very communicative, kept me updated with texts and pics of my boys the whole time I was gone, and they left the house in better shape than I'd left it! I endorse them without question, and look forward to hosting them again next time they come through Cincinnati!

Donna and Rob are wonderful housesitters. Very friendly and outgoing. Our elder cat was well taken care of and this included receiving oral medication twice a day. They picked up packages for us in our absence. Our home was very clean when we returned home. I would not hesitate to have them sit for us again.

Donna and her husband did a wonderful job house sitting during our last vacation! They sent daily updates and pictures, and I knew our dog and cat were well taken care of. What a pleasant surprise, also, to come home and find the house cleaner than we had left it! Thank you, Donna!

I would highly recommend Donna and Rob as they were an absolute pleasure. Beyond being friendly and social their love for animals stands out. I would certainly welcome them back again to take care of our home and our fur babies. They have extensive knowledge about home repairs, mechanical systems and handiwork. Donna and Rob are a very outgoing couple. Donna is organized and attentive, Rob is very social and always has a story to tell. They were very thoughtful taking care of our deaf Dalmatian. They gave her multiple baths while we were away due to her backyard past time of rolling in goose poop. They also made sure she felt comfortable and included in their activities and would move a dog bed nearby so she had a place. Rob and Donna were so sweet. They came in a day early, we were able to visit with them and show them Aspen's little routine. Donna sent us pictures of our pup while we were out of town, she was very much loved with lots of play time, treats and walks. When we got home, we noticed Donna and Rob cleaned our house, we never expect someone to stay and clean! We just want them to feel comfortable during their visit. It was truly a sign of relief after coming home from a long weekend and having to go ... MoreRob and Donna were so sweet. What a great couple... We really enjoyed our time with Donna and Rob before we left on our trip. We will be having them back soon as they were not only wonderful with our home... but really did a great job interacting with our dogs. Donna was very sweet to keep us updated about how our cats were doing, and quickly responding when we had questions. They really went the extra mile in their attention to detail in caring for our home, and when we returned it was incredibly clean and tidy; they had even removed a tough stain from one of our couches that we thought would never come out! When they left, Donna even insisted on leaving us their blue blanket that one of our cats had really taken a liking to. The combination of their obvious love for animals and their extensive knowledge of handiwork and homecare makes it easy for us to recommend them to anyone in need. Overall, a great experience!

Donna and Rob took care of our home and our 2 dogs for 3 weeks in October 2017. They were super responsive to all our messages. We planned times to chat and get to know each other on the phone. By the time they arrived, I couldn't wait to meet them! Both of them are very skilled around the house. Rob is an outstanding painter and Donna likes to clean and organize. Donna and Rob took care of my house and cat for a little over three months while I was travelling for work. They are very friendly people and my cat, who usually doesn't like being around other people, seemed to adore both of them. I left them with very simple instructions, don't burn down the house and make sure the cat is happy. This was our first time using a house sitter, and we certainly had some reservations, but Rob and Donna quickly put our fears to rest. They showed up a day early to discuss taking care of our many pets, and were very friendly and caring. They did an excellent job with the house and animals while we were gone for 10 days. Donna regularly communicated with us by email, text and/or telephone. Upon our return we found our house clean and neat, the lawn mowed, pool cleaned, and all of the dogs happy and healthy. I returned to a home that was probably cleaner than when I left. They cleaned things I had never even thought about like the filter in my shop vac! And they put a water sealer on my deck ( the weather had not allowed me to get this chore done before I left) and it looks fabulous now! The neighbors ...
