All first contact between house sitters and house owners is now made through the internal messaging system, removing the need for any transfer of contact information. However, all members have the ability to disclose (or withhold) contact data at any time.
Information in your profile is available to the public, and is indexable by search engines. Members have complete control over how much information they publish in the public domain. Maps are designed to only show the regional location of a house, rather than the street address.
In addition, our employees and the contractors who provide services related to our information systems are obliged to respect the confidentiality of any personal information held by us.
