Introducing your next House (and pet) Sitters!

We are a responsible (yet fun-loving) professional couple who both grew up in New Hampshire, moved to North Carolina 20+ years ago, and have been happily married for 22 years and counting. We love to travel, explore local culture and cuisine, and enjoy delicious food and drinks. Working remotely has enabled us to travel more while working in various locations. Outside of work, we love being outdoors - walking, hiking, kayaking, or just going on scenic drives.

We have a natural love for animals (Amera is a non-practicing veterinarian). When we had pets of our own, it was always important to us to have them stay in the comfort of their own home with a trusted sitter rather than boarding them in a kennel while we were out of town. While we currently don't have any pets of our own, we regularly take care of our local friends' and neighbors' pets.

With the world of remote working, we now have the flexibility to travel and see more of the country (and world). We find House Sitters America a great way to explore and enjoy new locations in exchange for caring for your house and pets.
