Hello, this house sitting job is for a 2 story home with stairs that is on a gravel road. It is about 15 minutes to a small local store and gas and 45 minutes to a grocery store. The home has propane heat and wood stove. Neighbors are available for any help with the property or pets. The home is in a forested area but about a mile from a river and reservoir. It is 3 bedroom with full bath on second floor. Kitchen and living room area on first floor and basement with full bathroom and storage. There is a new pole barn to park vehicles if needed.
Pets are 10 year old Kelpie and 6 year old pit/rottweiler cross. Both are very friendly and well behaved. They sleep indoors at night. There are 2 adult cats that have a cat door that they go in and out of the house. There are also 2 young cats (less than 1 year) that go outside and sleep inside at night. There are 19 chickens that have a secure coop that are let out during the day and they are locked up in the coop at night. They need feed and eggs collected each day.
If you leave for a overnight trip the neighbors can watch the pets for a day or 2.
There are house plants to be watered once a week.
There is a woodstove in the basement that can be used for heat along with a propane forced air furnace. Bathrooms are to be remodeled this winter so they do not have new fixtures but are fully functional.
