Sit local, or anywhere
You can keep it close to home, or you can use house sitting as a way to travel on a shoestring. It's all good, and it starts here.

I have one (1) 10 year old male dog, a Cavachon, named Cooper who weighs 23 lbs. He requires one medication per day, at least one walk outdoors per day, and a person who has a pleasant demeanor and voice. He is an easy dog to live with, gets along well with all other dogs and people.
I will be on an out-of-state trip this summer and need someone who is willing to stay at my home and care for Cooper. I prefer someone who can (ahead of this assignment) provide background check proof, character references, and has their own vehicle to drive while here.
My home has a guest bedroom with a comfortable bed and its own bathroom with shower and tub. I keep a clean and comfortable home and there is room in the driveway to park one's car or van; the vehicle must not exceed 20 ft in length. The back yard is fully fenced and has a wrap-around deck which is great for reading or sun-bathing during the summer months. The street is quiet and my neighbors and I all look out for each other. Little-to-no crime in this area. I do have security cameras located to view the driveway and the back yard deck. There is also a Ring doorbell w/ video.
The Meridian/Boise area has many walking paths and many parks to enjoy. There is a dog park for small dogs nearby. Grocery store, vet, drugstore, restaurants are all very nearby. It is a 15 minute drive to downtown Boise.
I need to be able to rely on someone to take good care of my boy, let me know how he's doing, and also follow-through on this commitment (i.e. not cancel at the last minute).
