Santa Fe New Mexico

Looking for someone mellow who spends time at home, doesn't work long hours away from house, and can care for small old dog that needs a specific but simple routine. Ideal for someone who has experience with elderly dogs.

Solo is almost 16 years old, on supplements but no major medical responsibilities, but has nerve degeneration so he needs some help getting around. You would need to be strong enough to frequently carry a 20lb dog up and down stairs. If you are really active, he rides along in a backpack really well and would love to be taken hiking (this is not necessary but a way to get him out if you want a physical challenge too!)

Townhouse has parking, comfortable living and working space, and access to green space. House responsibilities would include minimal plant watering, mail collection, and garbage day. Quiet neighbors on both sides so I ask that you are as well. 10-15 min to downtown Santa Fe. Less than 5 min to restaurants, grocery, shopping, running/biking trails, rec center, etc.

I will need care for Solo again for 3 weeks in Feb 2023. Would love to find someone who could help with both trips. Thank you!
