Pet sitting & House sitting job
Thanksgiving week in Chattanooga
We just recently relocated to the beautiful small southern city of Chattanooga, Tennessee where there are 70 hiking trail heads within a 30 mile radius of our home + water activities are abundant along the Tennessee River. Chattanooga also boasts some of the best internet in the world with a fiber optic network allowing for robust speeds (we have a basic plan that gives us 300mb download on speed tests).
Our 7 year old dog, Milo is from Guatemala and we think is a mix between a greyhound and a shepherd with brindle coloring. Being 6, he lazes around most days but loves a morning walk in the and evening play. Our cat Jackson is 1 and loves to play. He's also quite the snuggle bug. They are both very chill pets and easy to take care of.
Our home is a completely renovated light-filled 1965 ranch with easy access to downtown, grocery stores, etc. Our house is comfortable and your guest room has a King bed, your own bathroom with tub. Fully appointed kitchen. Beautiful newly built screened porch.
Taking care of the pets is the number one priority but if you like to garden or do house projects there's plenty to do (but definitely not required). Chattanooga is 2 hours from Nashville, 2 hours from Atlanta.
Your own car is necessary for this housesit.
Please send us a detailed response to include your housesitting experience with dogs and cats, references, if you are on other platforms, if you are vaccinated and your interest in providing us with a seamless transition while we are away.
