Hello,
I started housesitting after being the "house" and realized what a wonderful thing it is to be able to leave your much-loved home and pets in the care of someone you trust. I hope to be that person for you.
I have recently retired from a small university where I was the assistant to the Director of Advising. Previously I was in the travel industry for 15 years.
I enjoy traveling while my husband is most often content to stay home with our much-loved pets while I enjoy spending time with yours. :)

Susan did a wonderful job taking care of our two resident cats, and our bonus foster. Our foster required medication as well as a cone, and she went above and beyond in taking care of all three. We would gladly welcome her back to catsit anytime!
Susan saved me last minute in a pinch when confirmed sitter canceled last minute! She was communicative, kept me in the loop of how kitty's we're doing, and even when there was a little storm damage. The kitty's were happy and healthy and I think they miss her!! I recommend her highly! The house was spotless and was super nice to be away with absolutely no worries! Thank you Susan! Susan sat for us for a couple of weeks (March 2021) taking care of our three cats. Everything was absolutely perfect - our cats were loved on - communication was excellent - and we came home to a spotless house. We would certainly welcome her back anytime!
Susan took care of our cat, house, mail, and newly planted garden while we were gone for 10 days, and we can't say enough wonderful things about her. The cat was happy, the garden grew, and our house looked cleaner than It does after our cleaning lady has been here! She left us a bottle of wine and even spelled out our initials in shells! We would love to see her back anytime!
Susan was an excellent condo and catsitter for me. From the beginning it was easy to communicate and plan with her. And everything went very smoothly. She was very responsive when I was in touch - and provided photos of my two kitties - which helped me be assured all was fine. When I got back the apartment was in immaculate condition, and kitties were calm - it was obvious they had been very well attended to - and didn't even miss me. Susan was a spectacular sitter. I was nervous after having had a previously negative experience and Susan made me feel confidence and trust in her. When I arrived home from my travels, my cat was at ease and my home was in perfect condition. I would absolutely have Susan stay at my place again.
Make sure the garden & the potted plants are thriving when you return home. A house sitter will do this for you.
