We are an active couple retired from the medical and insurance fields, having recently settled down in AZ after 11 years of traveling the country in our motorhome, hiking, biking, playing pickleball and sightseeing. We love cats but due to our mobile lifestyle currently do not have any of our own. We have volunteered at various pet rescues during our travels, and now spend our time as cat caregivers and Intake Team members at Fearless Kitty Rescue in Fountain Hills, AZ.
They are not on this site, but we have two other people that we catsit for in AZ who would be happy to also give us a referral.
We are neat, quiet, conscientious, non-smokers and have had our Covid boosters. We will care for your house and pets as if they were our own.
Gayle and Jim were absolutely wonderful and have spoiled us into expecting excellent experiences with house sitters. They left the house spic and span, and took very good care of our cats. They were easy to communicate with and sent fun, regular updates. We would recommend them anytime.
Gayle and Jim arrived the evening before we were departing which gave us enough time to go over household items and for them to meet the cat(s). We were able to get a bit more acquainted with them over dinner. We felt comfortable leaving them in charge. Although they had some issues about the newly installed security system (we do too) they were able to reach us by phone in order to solve the problem temporarily. Felt soooo good leaving our cat Scruffy in the care of these lovely people. Great communication, attentive to the wonder cat's needs and left our home (and I am mrs. Clean) even more spotless than we left it!! Two enthusiastic thumbs up!!!
Jim and Gayle took terrific care of our kitty and our home. We were very happy this worked out so well and would be delighted to have them return for another engagement.
Jim and Gayle were our first experience with house sitters, and it couldn't have been better. They were a wonderful couple who were attentive to our kitties and to the house going above and beyond with taking on little chores around the house. After our extended absence, we returned to a house in perfect order and to very happy, healthy cats. We can't recommend them enough, and would have them back any time they were available and up for another house sit.
