Jan & Rich

We were seeking a responsible housesitter to take care of our home and our pet parrot Big Bird. Jan and Rich were sailors and given that we were also sailors and knew the responsibilities of ocean cruising , we thought this could be a good match. After chatting by phone, we felt they would do a great job and we were absolutely correct. They arrived a few days ahead of our departure and quickly learned the ins and outs of the house and care of Big Bird. They helped us by driving us to the bus ... Jan and Rich were sailors and given that we were also sailors and knew the responsibilities of ocean cruising , we thought this could be a good match. After chatting by phone, we felt they would do a great job and we were absolutely correct. They arrived a few days ahead of our departure and quickly learned the ins and outs of the house and care of Big Bird. They helped us by driving us to the bus and positioning our car at the park and ride for our return. They became friends with Big Bird and took great care of him, kept in regular email communication. and took excellent care of our home and plants. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting our new sailing friends. We would highly recommend them.

Jan & Rich took wonderful care of my home and 2 kitties while I was away. They arrived before I left so we could get acquainted and they asked great questions to make sure they understood my needs. I could tell that they love kitties and were happy to have temporary pets! My Siamese took to them right away and he's a great judge of character! They were great at communicating daily updates while I was away, which I appreciated as I have an elderly cat who needs extra care and attention. In ... Jan and Rich were amazing to have as guests in my home! From the moment I met them, I knew they were a great fit. My pomeranians warmed right up to them & they sent me pics as often as I wanted. My house was spotless when I came home & all my plants were just as healthy as when I left. I would contact them in a heartbeat for future stays.
