Heather & Lee

Hello!
We are a dietitian/woodworker couple that has spent the last 13 years in northeast Florida but looking to hit the road in our sprinter van starting in March 2023. We are plant-based, enjoy the outdoors, love animals, and are excited about moving to Asheville, NC at the end of our 2023 trip.

Heather is a private practice Registered Dietitian that counsels patients remotely. She is a recovering engineer that trained astronauts at Johnson Space Center!

Lee is a self-trained woodworker that is planning to hone his craft within the creative culture of Asheville, NC. He has been a superintendent in commercial construction and owned his own cabinet shop.

Our sweet, goofy dog, Amos, was in our lives for nearly 14 years. We would love to get our "dog fix" while on the road and are excited to get a new dog once we are settled in North Carolina.

We watch over and spoil our friends' dogs when they leave town. Lee's quick with the treats and Heather is front and center with dog smooches.

As of Fall 2023, we are in Colorado and plan to travel to Utah, Wyoming, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona, and then back toward the east, staying in Florida through spring. Our ideal is to find a sitting job in random areas along our travel path area from May 2023 until spring 2023.

**We are VERY interested in opportunities in the (lower) Florida Keys in February or March of 2023. ***

We will eventually settle in Asheville, NC. Open to house sitting in Asheville until we find a permanent place.
