We are a retired couple with intentions of traveling all over the country. Bill owned a pet sitting service for several years and managed 30 sitters, and was director of technology and training in materials management. Susan has helped neighbors/friends/family with caring for pets from bunnies to birds. Susan is a stylist but retired from beer and wine management for a local grocer.
For the first time in 40 years we are pet less and this form of travel will give us our pet fix and adventure all in one. We are healthy and active and will care for your pets as our own; we love bed buddies, and will take very good care of your home as well.
We had Henley, a corgi mix for 12.5 yrs and rescued a cat Trixi and she passed after 10 yrs. We also rescued a cat Lucci who we lost after 19 yrs. Last but not least we saved an older dog Charlie Bear and had him for 2.5 years. We said when our pets were gone we would start traveling. I can't tell you how much we miss them. So when I say we will take good care of your pets, I mean love them like ours!
We like animals, food experiences, hiking, anything outdoors, new adventures, people, movies, reading...just living fully.
We are non smoking, drug free, clean and respectful of the environment, professional and highly reliable. Your pets come first! The goal is to assure your peace of mind while you are away from your pets.

Susan took wonderful care of our home and our pets. Our GSD is young and a bit needy, but she took excellent care of him. Our home was in immaculate condition when we returned. Communication was excellent throughout the process. We were able to relax and enjoy our get away knowing the "kids" were in great hands. She definitely went above and beyond. 100% recommend!
Bill and Sue were awesome, They came the night before we left to observe the routines we have with our animals. We received pictures and videos while we were gone. They administered medications to our dog, Max, without problems. It is obvious that they love animals. Our home was neat and clean when we returned. They will forever be in our favorites list.
We loved having Susan and Bill return to Athens for a second time. They, once again, took wonderful care of our kitties and our home - with Bill impressing us as he referred to his own notes from last time. They are a pleasure to be around - so fun, kind and thoughtful - and they definitely gave us the opportunity to enjoy time away with confidence that our kitties and home were in good hands. We feel fortunate to now have them in our circle of friends and look forward to booking them again!

This was my first experience using this service, and Bill and Susan were amazing house/petsitters! They went above and beyond our expectations! One of my kitties is very shy with strangers, and in no time, they had her comfortable and hanging out around them. They sent lots of pictures and communication, as I requested. Susan & Bill are excellent house sitters! They went above and beyond - I came back to a cleaner house and neater yard than what I left. Although I took my dogs on vacation with me, Susan & Bill did get to meet them and it's clear they are dog lovers! They also helped out when issues came up in my attached Airbnb. Susan and Bill took great care of our dog, Daisey, and our home as well. The house was the cleanest it has ever been after returning from a trip. They were extremely conscientious and even took care of a dead snake that had gotten itself wrapped up in a garden hose reel. They kept in close touch with us. Highly recommend them and would definitely use them again.
Having Susan and Bill Housesit for me gave me the peace of mind I needed! Not only was this my first experience with this kind of service, it was a hectic time for me. Wow! Susan & Bill were nothing less than perfect sitters! They are very conscientious and thorough in their preparations for sitting and make sure all possible situations are covered. They contacted us with updates and photos of our fur babies throughout our trip, which was greatly appreciated. They willingly stayed until the early morning to accommodate our flight plans. Susan and Bill recently took care of my house and 2 crazy pups for a few days. I would highly recommend them to others, as they are communicative, very friendly and trustworthy, conscientious, punctual, and just very nice people! Bill and Susan were awesome! Murphy the dog loved them and they sent me pics to make me feel better about leaving him, they took care of my cats and my house and I hardly even thought of it all since I was so relaxed with them being there. Would love to have them back again!
