52, Accountant
Hello!
We're Daena & Paul, we're 52 years old and just celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary.
We've run a small town accounting firm for 23 years and are now semi-retired and work via internet.
We chose full-time house sitting when our daughter started college as a great way to travel more while still having the comforts of home with plenty of wonderful pets to love.
As experienced home owners & landlords ourselves - and now as experienced house sitters, we have cared for a variety of different types of homes and animals - city to farm, and mouse to horse.
We've cared for yards, house plants, gardens, pools, spas, appliances, and done many small home repairs & renovations of our own.
We're animal lovers and have lived on farms caring for small livestock - chickens, pigs, horses, goats, rabbits, etc., and had many pets - dogs, cats, fish, birds, guinea pigs, mice. As many lived into old age, we learned how to give pills, care for arthritis, joint pain, and mobility limitations.
We have excellent references from both long time clients as well as housesits we've completed.
We have our own car, are non-smokers, drink only occasionally, and don't do drugs of any kind. We're tidy by nature, respect other people's possessions and feel honored to be invited to stay in someone's home. We pride ourselves on leaving a home as clean or cleaner than when we arrived.
Building an accounting practice in a small town was all about building long term relationships by being honest and dependable and we bring that same approach to house sitting. Our focus is to build long term relationships with home owners who will want us to return in the future. We enjoy being able to give home owners a go-to person to call when they travel and getting to return to visit with the pets we inevitably fall in love with.
We're available for short term & long term sits and we'd love to hear from you!
