Janice & Gary

We are a responsible, fully vaccinated (including boosters), experienced married couple in search of pets and homes to lovingly care for. Since retiring in 2016, we served 3 years as summer Volunteer Camp Hosts at a Vermont State Park (we love hiking, biking, kayaking) and explored other areas as pet sitters in the winter months. We currently are pet sitting year round with a preference for long-term sits.

As for our backgrounds...Gary's career was with Homeland Security; Jan served as a Certified Animal Health Technician at Penn's Veterinary School at the Large Animal clinic at New Bolton Center in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania.

In addition to dogs, cats and exotics (parrots, reptiles) we both have extensive horse farm experience, including riding, grooming, teaching, foaling, barn work, mowing, etc. Our many years of pet sitting have often been with senior and special needs fur children, as we are able to administer shots and medications, as well as coordinate veterinary visits as needed. We understand the importance of keeping pets in their regular routine, including mealtime, exercise/play, treats, and sleeping arrangements.

We are fully vaccinated (including boosters), non-smoking/drug-free, clean and tidy. Owners can expect to return to a spotless home and happy pets! We will gladly provide numerous, stellar references upon request!
