I will surely regret divulging this review as it may render Jan forever unavailable to return! He was hands down the best cat/fish/plants/house sitter we've ever had. While we were on a stressful and emotionally exhausting trip where things seemed to go from bad to worse, the one thing we never had to spend a moment worrying about was our four cats back home. Coming back to a peaceful and immaculate house was a godsend. Jan, please come back anytime!

Jan cared for my home and cats for 9 weeks. He showed me that he would be a responsible sitter through several communications prior to his arrival. On the day he moved into my home my 10 year old cat had to be seen by the Vet for some acute health issues. Jan came with us to the appointment and was very attentive to what went on there. He took on the care tasks and was very diligent about making sure that the cat was well cared for during my absence. He responded to email requests with ... Some of the cat photos assured me that he and the cats had bonded nicely and all was well. Due to a change in schedule we were not able to meet when he left but he called and updated me on the cats and the house. I would recommend Jan for a sit in your home especially if you have needy cats!

Jan stayed in our house with our cat for one month and could not have been more attentive, neat and kind. He left our house immaculately clean and our cat completely spoiled. I'm surprised she didn't pack her kitty suitcase and leave with him. Jan is a true gentlemen and I enjoyed knowing him. You could not have a lovelier person watching your home and pets.

Jan did a great job housesitting for us. We were gone for three weeks and returned to a clean,well maintained house and two well cared for and pampered cats. Jan even prepared dinner for us the evening we came home! He gets our highest endorsement and recommendation for future housesitting opportunities.

We felt very fortunate to have found Jan. He is very pleasant to deal with. He kept us posted with updates on the cat and the garden, bills that came in the mail and so on. After 6 weeks away we returned to a clean home, lush plants, happy cat and a hot dinner. We would recommend Jan to anyone.

Jan stayed in our house for nearly 5 weeks and did a fine job. We returned to find our house in order and cleaner than we had left it. The plants and cats had been tended to as instructed. He was agreeable and reliable. We felt secure knowing he was watching our house.
